    Style over substance. Aesthetically really nice, and staff were attentive, but the food was VERY average... and was not worth the price at all. Disappointing.

    Lovely space and excellent service - but food poorly cooked. The starters were fridge cold and tasteless, the main course swordfish was utterly overcooked, the coffee was lukewarm. A shame as a beautiful space

    The food was amazing sadly the service let it down. We were seeking service attention all the time. The service was very slow and the restaurant was not even full. It was supposed to be a fats service, pre theatre menu, that took 3 hours. Luckily we didn’t have theatre tickets to go to. The food was very tasty and restaurant decoration and crockery beautiful.

    We went there for the Mother’s Day brunch which I thought was good value. Attentive and friendly service, and lovely live music. Sadly the food let it down, the mussels were lukewarm when they arrived so they were cold after a minute. Also the courses came out at the same time (except main) which meant we hardly had any space on the table. When the half lobster was served, it didn’t come with any utensils! When we asked for some we were told they didn’t have any (I don’t know if they had run out or this was standard) so the waitress took the food back to the kitchen so they could crack the shell. It isn’t as appetising when you receive a smashed lobster on a plate.. and the lobster itself was really small so my mum didn’t have much to eat. Also whilst the prosecco was bottomless, it wasn’t very cold. Overall we enjoyed it, but there’s definitely some kinks they could work on to really improve the experience.

    Overall a nice experience, Drinks was a little on the small size but starter and mains was decent portion and very tasty.

    Ordered oysters as a pre-starter, but saw them sat on the pass for at least 10 minutes, only to then be served with our starters which we sent back, pointing out that the oysters hadn't been served. My partner ordered "lobster linguine" as defined on the menu, but in fact you don't get any lobster meat ... just a big plate of pasta in a lobster bisque. I told the manager that this was misleading and the wording on the menu should be changed, she agreed to not charge for the meal and also removed the service charge. We were also sat next to a very loud large party of people celebrating a birthday, which made it difficult to have a conversation. If I were running a restaurant, I would put a large party in the corner rather than in the middle of the restaurant, so as to cause less inconvenience to other diners.

    Great venue nice decor good atmosphere staff were amazing and the food OMG fresh clean invigorating from the sea to plate taste and presentation and flavour Impressed .finished with the lightest vanilla meringue cake Then we were pleasantly surprised with a happy anniversary decorated desert not expected but a real good touch by the staff 100% on my recommend list and tell family and friends
