The most amazing experience starting with Stephanie!! She is a lovely personable young lady….Always so welcoming. The servers James and Gabriel were so professional and kind!! Great evening celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary. Oysters were outstanding!!! The dessert was unique and delicious. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection.

No doubt the best meal I’ve had in the whole of the Tampa Bay area. Charley’s, Berns, OysterCatchers, Eddie V’s and Del Frisco’s included.

Expensive but not worth the small portions. The crab cake didn’t have much crab and was served cold. The wedge was all romaine - little to no toppings. The turkey dinner had a nice flavor but the sides were bite size - a few green beans and a smear of potatoes so we ordered more for an additional charge. The lighting couldn’t be dimmed at the bar and had to ask for blinds to be raised for a view. The downstairs bar exceeds in value! Must end with the service and staff were top notch!

We ate dinner on the top floor with a party of 4.The wagyu steaks were perfect and the wedge salad was terrific. The girls had sea bass which was excellent.I had crab cakes as they don't offer shrimp any more. I wouldn't recommend the crab cakes. We all were disappointed in the view from the top. The first thing you see is the roof of the convention center,then the trailer park. Off in the distance is the Manatee river and Rt 41 traffic. You're definitely high off the ground but I would never have spent the millions to build that structure in that location. It is a very beautiful hotel built in the wrong town.

This is our first time to try the oyster river and we do understand it is relatively new. The food was delicious and had a nice presentation. We ordered the carpaccio, a wagyu fillet, oysters Rockefeller, seafood fettuccine and the bisque and lobster Mak n cheese. We knew it would be pricey because of the view and it being a hotel restaurant. Everything was tasty except the Mak and cheese which they took off the bill. The service was good, but could use a little polishing for the price point you’re paying. We’re so happy to have this new addition in our community and will return and wish them to be very successful.
