   There was a crowd and I expected a reasonable wait time for our pizza's however the promptly arrived cooked to perfection and they tasted great. I certainly recommend the Palmwoods Hotel. Cheers to all.

   After being seated and getting drinks from the bar we were waiting at least 15 minutes for menus and cutlery. I then had to get menus myself. Service was non existent. It was not busy by any standard, just seemed to be nobody around to serve. Our meals were terrible, 6 mains and not 1 meal finished. Steaks were all either undercooked or overcooked. $400 for a family celebration and I doubt we will return the experience was so bad.

   My friend and I had a wonderful lunch at Palmwoods Hotel today. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the food was amazing. I had the Lunch Coconut prawns with salad and chips and my friend had the Lunch Belly pork with bok choy and rice. Absolutely scrumptious and the servings were incredible. We will definitely be returning!

   Hi, We've noticed that our favorite meal, the Fisherman's Plate, has slowly declining in size and i offering. The large Flat chips I've come to enjoy, well my plate was given small offcuts of chips of which I've recommended to my friends that I would go there, and order just the chips cause they were so nice. Soft on the inside crunchy on the outside, perfection. However my husband received the big flat chips that I've come to enjoy. The amount of chips have been much more generous in the past, but not yesterday. Why didn't I get the same? The Calamari is usually large flat tender pieces, this time I got 3 thin calamari pieces. The Salad had no greenery, 1/2 a tomato piece and covered in mayonnaise, just carrot and beetroot shavings. Usually I recieve 2 pieces of crumbed fish and only received 1. I always count the amount I receive every visit. I was the first order in, so running out would not have been the reason. We sat at table 54 if you want to check our order. Overall, your generosity on the plate is diminishing. I would think at least chips and salad could be more generous, as it used to be.

   Hi Kelsey, Thanks for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear your recent visit didn’t meet expectations. After reviewing our lunchtime transactions, we didn’t have any orders for table 54, but we did serve our lunch-sized Fisherman’s Plate ($23) to numerous tables, which is a smaller, more cost-effective option compared to the main menu version ($40) that includes more seafood. As for the chips, we only use one brand and type — it’s possible the bag used that day didn’t deliver the usual quality, and we apologise for that. We’ve passed your comments on to the kitchen, and we appreciate your honest feedback. We hope we can redeem ourselves on your next visit!

   Had to try the Palmwoods Hotel Parmie night and it did not disappoint. Three different Parmies on our order. All three were of ample size with a good serving of chips and salad. Highly recommended

    Late Sunday afternoon lunch so was quiet. Meals were great. Staff were very good and the cocktails they made were exceptional.
