we loved Parkside Tavern, it lived up to all the reviews. the service was great, our server was fun and attentive. the food was excellent, we all enjoyed our meals. I loved the burrata toast and topped it with the serrano peppers. we started with drinks at the outside bar and ate outside on a gorgeous night. all in all a wonderful place.

Following a positive first experience at the Parkside Tavern, we arranged for a group of six to meet there for a Saturday dinner. Once again, we enjoyed a terrific experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostesses and our reserved table was ready. After being seated, our friendly and enthusiastic server promptly shared the specials and gave us time to consider the menu. We enjoyed drinks and shared the small-plate stracciatella toast and spinach artichoke dip before dinner. The cajun gumbo, pork chop, and spicy rigatoni vodka big plates received rave reviews at our table, and we devoured three orders of the apple tart dessert. Overall, we had a great time over two-and-a-half hours with quality service and food and no rush.

Overall rough experience . Drinks took a while . Every course had ten minutes between half the table getting their food and the other half getting their food . Desserts were frozen solid . I don’t think was wait staff fault. Seemed like a complete lack of organization with no one managing the place for a pretty pricey Mother’s Day prix fixe menu .

Great food and service. The mussels with frittes are outstanding. Great bar that makes an excellent martini and also non-alcohol alternatives.

Menu all over the map. Service poor brought meals while appetizers and plates on table. Server asked us to stack our plates and then hold our entrees while they cleared. A martini was $27 in a very small martini glass. The restaurant looks like it has no theme or goal. Very expensive for sub par food. Much better choices in Morristown area.
