Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

My family was there last night and we were disappointed to be in the back room beside two large tables of girls who were very loud. The food and service was excellent, however, overall it was disappointing as it was hard to hear our own conversation.

Most food was delicious. The cheesy garlic bread, burrata, ravioli, flat breads, and Brussels are delicious. The house salad was odd and steak was ok. The staff and ambiance are excellent! My girls friends and I love coming and spending hours catching up and enjoy sharing all the plates, wine and dessert.

We had an overall good experience. However, I didn’t like that they ran out of several menu options on an expensive NYE prix fixe menu. The options that they had available were very good though. But if you have to pay a premium for a New Years menu with limited options, I would hope that all of the options listed would be available.

The burrata with pear and Brussels sprouts were amazing. Focaccia bread was good and fresh. Pasta was a little under cooked. Otherwise good overall was great. Cozy atmosphere. Good service.

Had reservations & had to wait 30+ minutes for a table! Asked for middle of front dining room but got last table facing back wall. Waiters timing was off. Waiting for long periods between apps & main. Pine nuts on 2 entrees were burnt giving the entire dish an unpleasant taste! Waiter just disappeared for extended periods & we did not tell him nor did he ever ask? The apps dipping sauce came long after apps were eaten. Also, We were celebrating 2 birthdays stated weeks ago on reservation, again earlier on our text rsvp & nothing was said to make our guests feel celebrated…Very disappointing!

My wife and I went to Pendolino last night for an early dinner before going to a concert. We ordered drinks and then a buratta pizzette as an appetizer to split. After that we ordered a pasta dish, the gulf shrimp alla vodka, as an entree to split. Everything was great. My only complaint is my wife's first cocktail, a Mama Mia, came to our table much later than expected, but the rest of the food and drink items came fast. We've been to Pendolino several times and will be back soon.
