Part neighborhood café, part energetic bistro, Petite Cerise is located in a bright and lively historic corner space in Shaw/Mount Vernon Triangle. Petite Cerise features separate à la carte menus for brunch, lunch, and dinner. In addition, Petite Cerise has a Coffee Counter open Tuesday - Friday opening at 8am serving classic coffee and espresso preparations, housemade pastries, and other breakfast items to go or sit down.

Dinner offers both an à la carte menu along with a Prix Fixe option. The focus in the evening is to craft unique and innovative dishes utilizing the very best ingredients within the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond skillfully prepared through a French lens.

If you decide to join us for a morning coffee, quick mid-day bite, stretch out your lunch over a glass of wine, or gather with friends for an indulgent and creative dinner, we invite you here to celebrate and enjoy.

Fabulous first visit to Petite Cerise. Excellent food, cocktails, and wine selection. Lovely ambiance. Highly recommend and will be back.

Nice wine selection with nothing priced extraordinarily. Cocktails were delicious too. Our server got our entree order wrong but the kitchen was already closed at this point and I didn’t want to make a thing of it. The fluke was still great. They somehow thought that we were celebrating a birthday, which was something that we never explicitly said or even made a joke about or put in the reservation. Either way, the little cakes for that were probably the low point in the whole meal, very dry. Ambience was fantastic and the service and food was on par with what I’d expect for the price point.

Food was delicious - had the escargots and the risotto. My friend had the fluke and loved it. Nice ambiance. Got loud as we were near a very loud table but the rest of the restaurant was probably fine. My only complaint is the per glass wine list - tiny and sad. Only one red - a very meh Cab Franc.

Our experience at Petite Cerise was outstanding. We ordered the prix fixe menu and every item was delicious. We had time to enjoy each course and never rushed. The food quality was superior and service very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for small parties.

Very small portions for the price. Basic bistro food. Service was very slow considering there is an automatic 20% service charge.

Absolutely amazing! The food and service was spectacular! I highly recommend the burger and the avocado croast and you can’t go wrong with any of the pastries!

This was the perfect place to leisurely catch up with an old friend on a cold day. This was her first visit and she will definitely return!

This was our first time visiting Petite Cerise, and we plan to dine there many more times. Petite Cerise is a new favorite thanks to its outstanding menu, staff, wine list, and overall culinary experience. The chef's tasting menu is fantastic. 5/5 Stars!
