   Great lunch, first time visiting, went full Italian rather than the Sunday lunch which did look very tempting (other tables were enjoying) Good food and good service, our waitress Rosie was attentive and friendly - thank you. Truly appreciated as I was treating my parents to a birthday lunch.

   We couldn’t have had a better first experience at Piccolino, 5 of us including my 9 year old had a great selection of food to choose from everyone found their meals delicious with generous meals comfortably generous portions and the service was second to none. It’s great when you’re spending that little bit more to know you’re guaranteed good service as it really makes the meal what it is.

   We didn’t know quite what to expect but WOW! what a fabulous place. We went early on a Friday evening for our wedding anniversary treat so we were hoping for something a bit better than your average pizza restaurant. This was outstanding, we treated ourselves to the more expensive dishes and were very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. Add to that the very attentive staff and the fact that everyone in the restaurant was chatting and enjoying themselves created a really good ambiance. We’re definitely going back and will take friends with us. Thank you Piccolinos for giving us a lovely anniversary memory.

   Excellent eating venue for a very special occasion. Be prepared to pay a little bit more, but the quality of the food and ambience is well worth it.

    Food was very bland; we ordered the truffle pasta and chilli/garlic prawn pasta. Service was rushed; we started with cocktails before our mains and wine but we had barely settled in/drank our cocktails and both were brought to the table. Desserts were more enjoyable - we had the chocolate fondant and passion fruit panna cotta. Atmosphere is busy and tables are very close together. Menu looks great at a glance but too many choices for each to be perfected. Overall, not a great experience for my partner and I, and it is unlikely we will return.
