Piccolo Buco Roma - set mere steps from Rome's famed Trevi Fountain - is where Cooper's Hawk Founder, Tim McEnery, first discovered Chef Luca Issa and his wonderful pizza. The ingredients were deceptively simple: creamy, indulgent mozzarella mingled with a bright and bold tomato sauce. The chopped salad is delicious. All of the pizzas are so flavorful. My favorite is the arancini. Best I’ve ever had.

Many gluten free options, everything we tried was really good, we are coming back to try the pizzas, they looked unreal!

This is our second time we have been here. Food has always been amazing. The brick oven pizza is hands down the BEST!! Where we were seated cold air was blowing right on us. Manager tried to “override” the system, but we were almost done with the meal before it was taken care of. Our server Was not attentive at all. We had to ask other servers several times to get our waitress, and every time she came she seemed rushed. I wish the service and ambiance was the same quality as the food.

The menu all sounded good, so it was hard to decide! And the food we ordered was very tasty! It was kind of expensive, though - especially since entrees did not include a side salad, or even bread for the table. It doesn't look as upscale inside as the prices indicate, and the interior design contributed to the noise level, I think. (It was busy, so that also factored into the noise.) Our server was friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu - but she was a little soft-spoken (at least given the noise level), and there were a lot of dirty dishes left on the table, even as she checked in regularly to see how things were or if we needed more drinks or dessert.

Our waitress was great! She was super friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and hot. Drinks and dessert were very good. One of our favorites places to have dinner

Food was amazing! Our waiter forgot our drink order so it was delayed, it also took a long time to get our check. Other than that it was excellent.

Three of us dining, ordered two pizzas and salad, and shared. It was plenty. The pizzas (we had one white and one yellow) were very good. The fungo in white was great. The salad had everything we like and was large enough for 3-4 people. Both pizzas were prepared as expected, based on the techniques advertised, and were really good - thin dough except for the outer crust, cooked completely without being dry or crunchy. Edges properly "burned and blistered". Service was excellent, but we were literally the first customers of the day. It was our first visit, and our server was informative, polite and patient.
