Pipis Kiosk is a beachside bistro serving up a menu that champions Australian seafood and vegetables.

Awarded one hat in The Age Good Food Guide since its opening in 2021, the restaurant is a quintessential Melbourne experience.

New Year's Eve 2024 Come and usher in the New Year on the foreshore. Do you fancy watching the boats sail past with a glass in hand? Maybe a firework or two? Relaxed beachside vibe? No need for fancy dress but we always encourage a colourful shirt and maybe a dash of linen. Celebrate life with a luxurious seafood focused 4-Course Set Menu. The nitty gritty: - Strictly two 3-hour sittings. We encourage families in the first sitting. - Please specify dietaries in your booking notes. - Tickets will not be refunded within 72-hrs of booking time. Transfers only. - Bookings are for indoor dining room tables only and the terrace. - Drinks are at list price and charged on consumption. - Last drinks at midnight. Come party!

Get the “feed me” menu. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. We were all stuffed and rolling out. Ambience and location were also lovely. Highly recommend and will be back!

Very disappointed from start to finish. Nothing was of an acceptable standard for Melbourne dining. Menu very limited Quality of food is average Expensive for what was received Service was exceptionally poor Seated outside and then forgotten about completely Wine was served in ice buckets without enough ice or water to keep cold Complete lack of awareness about needs of customers on a scorching hot day. There was one kindness expressed at the end of our meal & that was when we were offered & inside table for our dessert. Struggling to say anything positive

The covered outdoor area no good on hot days And about 10000000 flies inside Too hot and dirty Prices should be more like the actual kiosk Not a 1 star restaurant So not worth it

The young waitress was very nice. In shock to see that this restaurant was packed and the review was high. I do not think the chefs are trained. The day’s special was flounder which was butchered(or they got the damaged fish) and fishy, cuttlefish bolognese sounded interesting but just bad -the thick pasta was stuck together (not stirred during boiling!?) and boiled without salt, the sauce was terrible….The only decent food was the carpaccio of kingfish. I was just letting it go as bad experience and then saw the bill for the water. We had 2 glasses each of sparkling water not even bottles next to us and got charged 20 aud. Now it’s a bit personal. I mean, we went for the view so we didn’t have high hopes but at the cost of over 100 aud p/p you would expect an acceptable meal.

Maybe they were having a bad night, but we couldn’t get service and the wait staff continued to look past us and walk past us. The food is beautiful! And we will go back again to try a second time - hopefully it’s the real deal.

If you are a European it is disappointing that bread is not served in Australia. Focaccia seems a new technique to make money. It was good though. The kingfish carpaccio was ok but felt sauce was a bit too much. The flayed rock flathead was exceptional !!! The steak was expensive, a bit small for the price , well cooked but smothered in sauce . The white chocolate cucumber dessert was fun. Overall I felt the food was good but there was too much dressing , over complicated. Would go back especially for the large rock flathead.

We dined on the special pop up menu collaboration with GEN restaurant. The flavours were incredible, and overall a 5star dining experience!

The food is always exceptional. The chef and staff are warm and welcoming. This is going to be our favorite restaurant for me and my boyfriend!
