Chef German Rizzo has brought his East Village Italian-Mediterranean Small Plate Restaurant to Glen Cove! Chef Rizzo's style menu sets an experience to enjoy a shared meal with family and friends. You can dine at the chefs counter where you can watch dishes be created from the open kitchen, cozy up in our dining room with an intimate table for two or a larger table with friends, or enjoy dinner at our cocktail bar, there is something for everyone!

    A wonderful local restaurant with great service, food,and overall experience. A must when visiting Glen Cove. I highly recommend and shall return.

    The food is outstanding. Creative and flavorful. The wild boar was a special and fantastic. The smoked scallops on the regular menu is such an amazing dish, a must try. Also really loved the crispy baby artichokes-definitely get it with the prosciutto.

    I’ve been living on Long Island for two years and I can confidently say Plado is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to here. The food and drinks are OUTSTANDING. It is also gorgeous inside.

    Fantastic experience. Food was delicious and very creative. Would definitely recommend. Servers were friendly but one server brought the wrong item out to us on two occassions. Besides that, everything else we amazing!

    First visit and it was great. Will return - shared 4 or 5 different plates and all were wonderful. Chef came by the table which topped off a really fun and delicious evening.

    We'd heard great things and had high expectations for dinner- we were not disappointed. Beef tartare and gnocchi were both standouts, but all 5 of the dishes we ordered were fantastic. Executing at a high level. Glad to add Plado to our rotation!

    The dinner was delicious. Everything we had was great. Service was great . We highly recommend this restaurant. We had a variety of appetizers and protein dish . Excellent restaurant!
