I made a reservation for 9:45 pm. When we arrived, the host started walking towards us from the back of the restaurant. At the same time, another guy (manager?) sprinted to the front pointing to his watch over and over again, making sure we could see his gesture. I’m guessing he wasn’t aware that we had a reservation. While on the way to my table, we were told we need to order fast because the kitchen was closing. We were then stalked by multiple people who would appear at our table every minute to pressure us to order. Got our food and it was decent. The $32 crab ravioli was hard and undercooked. I told the waiter but he didn’t seem to care. We get the check and the ravioli is still on the bill even though we tried to send it back, and it was barely touched. After arguing with the waiter, I was told “let me see what I can do”. Wow you’re gonna do me a favor and ask if I can have the item removed from my bill that was half cooked and rushed out as fast as possibly and barely touched. Thanks so much! Maybe you shouldn’t offer a late reservation when your entire staff looks like they are half way out the door and couldn’t care less about being there. Dessert was awesome or this would have been a 2 star review.

The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. The service at the beginning was a little slow, but it was surprisingly a busy Monday night. The food came out in a timely manner and we were all very happy. My new favorite restaurant on Long Island/ Would definitely go back.

Really great meal last night with 2 other couples. Portions were great for sharing and each dish was expertly composed and delicious. Desserts were excellent as well. Our servers did a great job helping us navigate the menu and were very attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

My friends and I were looking forward to trying out this restaurant since the concept and reviews looked promising. However, there is room for improvement. The Burrata flatbread was excellent, and the crispy artichoke was very good, but it needed a bit more sauce. The lasagna was good, but the grilled octopus a bit overcooked. The restaurant was very busy, the noise level was acceptable, and the vibe was definitely lively and trendy. However, service was slow; we would get one tapas dish every 10-15 minutes. The menu selection is actually great, with many tapas dishes to choose from, and I would love to go back to an improved menu. The restaurant is very promising and it would be great if the food caught up to the vibe. We definitely need such restaurants in our area and I hope the owners/managers work on improving their guests’ culinary and dining experience.

I recently celebrated a birthday at Plado in Glen Cove, and it was an incredible experience! The restaurant offers a unique tapas-style menu, allowing us to try a variety of dishes, and each one was outstanding. The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection, but the real standout for me was their cavoletti—an exceptional Brussels sprouts dish bursting with flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch, making the evening even more enjoyable. While it’s a bit of a drive from the south shore, Plado is absolutely worth the trip for a special occasion or a memorable night out. I can't recommend it enough!

It was my first visit and I will be back! Perfect for girls night or any night with a group that likes to “pick and share”! Yummy!
