I really wanted to love it. I’m from Chicago and based on the reviews I thought it was gonna be a Kitchen and Kocktails experience. Great food, bad service. The service was ok, the food was… interesting.
It was about 630 when we sat down, we didn’t order until 650. It didn’t seem busy, but ok. We ordered everything all at once to get it over with. We got our Cesar salad first, it was good. Drinks took forever to come but it was good. I never got my ramen appetizer.
The food took FORVER to come. Probably over 30 mins. Again, the place is not busy. We ordered 2 ribeyes, Brussels sprouts, spinach, and fried rice. When the food finally came we were highly disappointed. The steak seemed steak vs seared like on the pictures and it was overcooked. We asked for medium. Also, the spinach was some type of creamed spinach, but on the pictures it seemed sautéed. It’s just weird to have pics of the food and then to serve the food opposite of the pictures.
The music is awesome so I’d probably go back for the club portion, not the restaurant. LOVED the prickly pear drink!!
