Polo Steak & Sea of Vero Beach offers a variety of amazing STEAKS, SEAFOOD and SUSHI. Streaks are a minimum 35 day aged to offer more flavor and tenderness. Our chefs love creating nightly seafood specials sourcing local seafood.
Polo also features a rotating variety of Dry Aged steaks and chops throughout the week. To accompany the menu is a curated wine list with unique and delicious gems along with hand crafted cocktails.
Polo Steak & Sea offers several areas to dine, inside a well appointed dining room with a modern bar or al fresco dining in a large covered veranda.

We have dined here in the past while vacationing in Vero Beach and looked forward to returning. Our food was very good, especially the sushi roll we chose to split as an appetizer. We would return to Polo Steak and Sea for the sushi rolls alone. But it’s amazing how the attitude/mood of a server can set the tone for a $200 dinner. From the get go, our waiter was very underwhelming. He came to the table, mumbled his name and said he’d be our server. I asked him to repeat his name for us again and while he did, it’s like he was halfway gone from the table already. No eye contact. Blasè. I asked about a certain entree and I was basically fed back exactly how the menu read although he did quickly add that a lot of people like it. It continued this way throughout our entire meal. The restaurant was mostly empty, especially when we arrived, so it wasn’t that the waiter was extremely busy. When we go out for an expensive meal, there’s a bit of expectation that your waiter, their personality, and expertise are part of the price you’re paying. We didn’t experience that at all. It pretty much flavored our entire experience negatively.

Everything was great, except for mine and my husband’s filets…….others at our table had filets and they were perfect, but our two you couldn’t even cut through due to a sinewy tendon or something that was in there. So we couldn’t eat…. We did each get a $10 off coupon for a future visit, but I feel we should’ve been compensated more than that….Besides that food was good…Just wish could get sautéed spinach and not just creamed spinach.

Overall the dining experience is consistent and wonderful. The service the Cassandra provides is outstanding! You may go there for the steak or the seafood but the sushi is definitely something that stands out.

Would never go back. We were sat in a corner outside by their storage area after we had called days in advance to ask for a nice view/ nice table. The outside area feels like your in a prison dining hall with white concrete walls, nothing upscale about it. Appetizer- beef tips were very good as well as the French onion soup and lobster bisque. Here’s where it really went downhill.. Our food took over an hour to arrive and you could tell it had been sitting in the window under heat lamps because the sauce on my lamb was burnt and the truffle mashed potatoes had developed a crust. Chicken was dry and flavorless. Overall the experience was terrible. After we had finally been served our food, another table was sat and had their food within 15 mins. It’s evident this restaurant doesn’t know how to keep up with a dinner rush. Not worth the price they’re charging at all.

We've dined at Polo many times over the last 7 years while living in Vero Beach. Our waitstaff were exceptional this Saturday evening, particularly Steve, our waiter. He was attentive to our needs but not overly so. There were 4 of us, and we ordered several different appetizers, salads, and entrees. All were tasty.

Reserving on line is a horrible way to start a relationship with a customer----- server was pushy to get our order and could not be found when we tried to pay the bill to leave-- I asked for nothing to be put on my rib eye and it was delivered with tons of fake seasonings-- i like a steak for the natural flavor and had to put up with fake seasonings on a $54 steak-------------------------- not a great result----------------------------------------------------

I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The service was fantastic—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout the meal. The sushi and oysters were excellent—definitely the standout dishes, fresh and delicious. However, some of the other dishes didn’t live up to expectations. The seabass was undercooked and way too salty, which made it hard to enjoy. And the scallops were, frankly, overpriced. Four pieces for $42 felt like a rip-off, especially considering their size. On the positive side, the service at the bar was great, and the Mezcal margarita I had was one of the best I've had in years. While I did enjoy some parts of the meal, the food quality and pricing for certain dishes didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
