Prohibition Columbia opened in the spring of 2024 and is brought to you by the same team behind Prohibition Charleston, which opened in 2014, and Repeal 33 in historic Savannah, Georgia. While many of the food and drink items can be found at all three locations, special considerations have been made to tailor a unique experience in each city.

As part of the ever-growing Main Street District, Prohibition brings innovative cocktails, eclectic cuisine, and live music to the heart of Soda City.

The service was very slow got our drinks after the food came. The waiter gave us straws with his bare hands.Food was okay

The decorations were super fun: the Instagram post caught our interest so we booked a table. Loved the lights, decorations, fun tiki bar menu and unique drink offerings. The only snag was that of our four food orders, one arrived after three of us had eaten. We had a hard time flagging down our server and we felt like we had been forgotten. Otherwise the evening was good!

Server forgot drinks multiple times, forgot to take order- think it’s mostly because they were very understaffed as a pop-up Christmas restaurant the Sunday before Christmas. Should definitely have smaller sections for servers

The atmosphere was amazing (especially the Christmas theme and the love music). We had a “not so friendly” waitress- that truly didn’t match the atmosphere. The food was ok….but not the best. Would go back just for the atmosphere experience.

Server was great! Wish the full regular menu was kept even during holiday theme. I understand it was pretty busy, but some of the food was lukewarm and over salted

Fabulous food and Holiday Drinks. There beautiful Holiday Theme set the mood. Outstanding atmosphere and most Important was our Gracious ,cheerful waitress she made the evening. We have Been here before and definitely be here again.

Drinks took awhile. A guest in our party didn’t get his food until everyone was finished. We knew it was a small plates deal where they would come at different times, but this one was really delayed. Our server just didn’t seem happy and kind of had a slight attitude. Atmosphere was amazing but we have realized Christmas pop up bars are over priced, service isn’t great and the small menus just aren’t worth it.

Unfortunately we were a little disappointed after eating here last night. The Christmas decorations made a nice setting however the menu was extremely limited. They also did not have items available such as honey mustard and several draft beers were not available. We felt like the cost was high for the value of the food options. The food was basic and small quantities.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We came for brunch. The Christmas decorations and atmosphere were phenomenal! They had live music, holiday themed drinks. We will definitely go back.
