At Pythouse Kitchen Garden, you'll find an idyllic atmosphere in which to enjoy fantastic food. We offer covered outdoor seating in our glorious garden and indoor seating in the conservatory and potting shed. Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a lunchtime destination only at present.

Head chef Darren Broom's passion lies in producing food with an unmistakable sense of terroir. For Darren, provenance is not just the backstory to his ingredients, it’s everywhere in the look, feel and taste of his food.

We are keen to champion our own produce first and foremost, providing guests with a unique and ever-changing insight into the seasons. We work closely with the garden team to manage and maintain the garden and to deliver a programme of regeneration and sustainability.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a private party paradise. You can lose yourself in magical nature and feast on its treasures as they grow around you. The fruit and vegetables are grown solely for you and your guests and harvested on the day of your celebration. The abundant flowers, specimen trees and 18th Century architecture form a heavenly backdrop. Parties at PKG are invariably colourful, chic and fun. From unique seasonal weddings with a homegrown twist, to glamorous, formal sit-down dinners, the walled garden provides for all.

Beautiful setting and perfect place for a family get together and celebration. Felt spoiled and well looked after by the friendly staff. Set Sunday lunch menu with fixed starter and roast as a main took the fuss out of ordering and meant we could all just relax and chat. Walk in the walled garden in the sunshine afterwards was the perfect end to the day.

Simply superb! One of those places that you want to keep secret but that would be an injustice to the Pythouse team. Everyone should visit here at least twice!

The service was very pleasant, and the food was exceptional, not too fussy , flavours were perfectly balanced and it was as cooked to perfection! Will definitely come back! Thank you

We always have the most wonderful experience at Pythouse. Always incredibly creative and delicious food, outstanding service and idyllic setting. This was our first Sunday Lunch, and it was delightful.

The menu would be improved if a vegetarian option was included in the Large Plates section - and not butternut squash please.

The Pythouse is a wonderful collection of superb food in a relaxed environment with staff who find time to talk to you and care that you are having the best time. What more could one ask?

My aunt and I had a fabulous lunch on Wednesday at Pythouse. We had our three dogs with us - and so enjoyed the friendly chat with the staff, not to mention the absolutely stunning food. Would highly recommend. It was great to be there mid-week - a nice chilled atmosphere in the gorgeous conservatory.

A wonderful restaurant experience, very attentive , polite and welcoming service, great delicious food carefully crafted into a memorable meal. Thank you all for a peaceful, delightful lunch and a memory we will recount to family and friends.
