12.12.12 We began a journey together with the community of Hudson, Massachusetts. An idea to open a small flatbread shop evolved into something we could only dream about. Our story is about a community's hope to do something special and to bring attention back to the things that matter most- like sitting around a fire, with warm friends, cold beers and great flatbread! Although delicious wood fired flatbread pizza is the champion on our menu it's just the beginning -we are a family friendly restaurant offering unique spins on new American comfort food classics like burgers, chicken tenders, tacos and mac and cheese to name a few.

We have been to Rail Trail several times and the food is always great. Today we also had a perfect server. I wish I got her name but she did everything perfectly, which is rare these days. Recommended!

Early Saturday brunch, wonderful! Eggs on my Della Nona were slightly undercooked, but that didn't take away from how delicious it is! my son had the HUGE breakfast roll that never disappoints, and my DIL enjoyed the anniversary steak on weck. It's a bit hearbreaking to visit Hudson and not see the "boys" around but we know they have their business in good hands!

Had reservations for 6:30, arrived at 6:30 and waited until 7:10 to be sat at our table. We were sat in front of a sign that is so bright it could be seen from outer space. The hostess was kind and responsive when we asked for another table. She was able to change tables for us, with an additional 5-10 min wait. Our waitress was great as well. Ordered the farmers market pizza, had 10 pieces of zucchini on it and 4 pieces of onions. When we brought it up to the waitress that there was no vegetables on it she was embarrassed. Came back with a bowl of cooked veggies for us to add to the pie ourselves. I’ve had decent experiences here in the past but one thing is always the same. If you make a reservation you wait for a table for a minimum of 25 minutes after your reservation time. It’s ridiculous. Add on the lackluster food and that ridiculous light they have there and it is a perfect recipe for me to never come back to this place. I will have nothing but negative things to say about this place when friends and family ask for recommendations in the area.

I am generally a fan of Rail Trail Flatbread, but tonight's meal was a huge disappointment. To celebrate their 12th anniversary in Hudson MA, they offered a special menu. I ordered the Beef Bourguignon. Big mistake. It was literally 80% mashed potatoes, the meat was all fat and to top it off the dish was served lukewarm. It essentially was a bowl of mashed potatoes topped with some chunky soup. I guess I should have known better--a pizza joint offering Beef Bourguignon. Again, I am a fan of this restaurant when it comes to their flatbreads. They should stick to what they know and do well.

Overall good experience. Loved the energy of our waitress. She checked in often but follow through was a bit lacking. Example: we ordered the boneless chicken appetizer that was supposed to come with ranch or blue cheese. It didn’t and when we asked our waitress to bring it she said “yes of course” but then it never arrived. The food tasted great but the fries with our burger were cold. A bit pricey for cold food and missing items. Still like the place though it’s usually great.

We love Rail Trail. Our table was ready when we checked in. Service was fast and attentive even though it was a very busy day.

Hudson’s Rail Trail is personable, offering excellent quality food and service. We had Ashley, who was so attentive in a great way, not bothersome but there just when we were ready for her. Management seems to do an excellent job. Bravo!!

Amazing. We went during a very busy event in Hudson and had reservations for a larger group. We were seated right away and had our food within 30 minutes of sitting down. Very efficient and everyone was very accommodating and nice. We had 4 kids under 4.
