Our servicer Allison was excellent. The entrees were fine, but not as good as last month when we were there. The desserts were excellent and so were the Brussels sprouts.

We were surprised how everything about that place has changed in less than a year. Last year it was perfect. This time it was horrible. First they tried to make us sit at the most possible far/antisocial place, like a separate room with no one in it. We dis not want it and they sit us to a better place. And it was 5.30 pm, they did not give us all menus. Last year we had the hamburger, this year they said its only in lunch menu and they cannot serve at this time. People were eating hamburger 3 ft away at the bar, they said we need to sit at the bar to eat that:))) Crazy stuff. We couldn’t as we have our kid with us. Total disappointment and zero flexibility.

Although this restaurant has been open in Naperville for two years and we frequently dine in Naperville, this was our first visit to RK. The Beef Wellington was fabulous, as was the beet and wedge salad. Our server, Adam was exceptional. He had a great personality, was attentive, but not overbearing.

Was extremely disappointed in the food, service, and value, which was a real bummer as we went to celebrate my son’s bday. The truffle fries and crab cake were really the only highlight of the meal. (Also appreciated that they have a separate fryer for gluten allergies.) For entrees, we ordered the risotto, chicken, pea soup and beet salad, and beef Wellington, with sides of broccolini and Brussels sprouts. The portion size of the risotto was extremely small and very oily. Portion size of the pea soup was also very small, maybe 3/4 of a cup? It was also very watery with little flavor. It honestly tasted like green veggie juice. Broccolini was decent but the Brussels sprouts were very salty. Beet salad was also very average, slices of beet were pretty large and not seasoned much. The chicken was ok and the beef Wellington was the one hit. Our server wasn’t very attentive, and there was no dessert offered for the birthday. I never write reviews, but given the price of the meal and high expectations that go along with that and the Ramsay name, it honestly felt like a rip-off. Wish we would have gone to Francesca’s across the street.

I visited the restaurant with my family, excited to try the burgers and other dishes. We arrived at 7:30 PM and had a reservation for seven people. Despite this, it took 15 minutes to get us seated. The ambiance was very dark, with minimal lighting, which made it a bit uncomfortable. When we placed our drink order, we asked for three drinks, but only two arrived initially. The third one came 10 minutes later. We wanted to try the burgers, but they informed us they were out of stock, as well as the daily special. We placed our order anyway, but the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Honestly, I don’t mind paying more for good food and service, but I expected better from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations.

We came here for my husband’s bday dinner and it did not disappoint! I am a vegetarian so there were limited options for me (which we knew coming in) but the Tomato saffron risotto was phenomenal! My husband loved the beef Wellington and said it was perfectly cooked! We also tried heritage beets and sticky toffee pudding that were very delicious. Also cocktails (we got cell-ray margarita & RK Old Fashion) were very well made. We were sat by the open kitchen and a lot of other dishes looked and smelled delicious! Good upscale casual addition to Naperville downtown.

Food was lukewarm to cold when received and we were the only table seated. Béarnaise sauce cold is not pleasant. Crab Cakes were overcooked and had that 'fishy' taste. Cinnamon rolls are super 'doughy' - not enough icing to bread rational. Like they turned dinner rolls sweet. Sad to say other than a well seasoned steak and potatoes - the rest was fair at best.

Took friends from out of town to dinner and were so disappointed in the experience. Salads, appetizers and food all came out at once. Table was cluttered with dirty dishes and unused wine glasses. Steaks were over seasoned. Side dish of Brussels had only 2 Brussels and the rest of the dish was croutons. Food just was not good. With a $700 dinner for 4 we expect amazing service and great food.
