   Went for my wife's birthday. Worth all of the hype. Excellent service,even better food

   My group was so looking forward to eating at Ramsey’s Kitchen. But we were in for disappointment. The atmosphere was great. Service was outstanding. Food not so much. My wife had the Connecticut-style lobster roll. It was dry with little to no taste. My friend had the petite beef Wellington. Again no taste and dry. His wife had the chickpea tikka Marsala. It was not palatable. I had the fish and chips. It was a good fish portion and had a phenomenal taste, the chips were also wonderful. We took the lobster roll home, and I ate it later that evening. It was marginally better cold than it was hot. The fantasy of eating the food at Ramsey’s Kitchen was better than the reality of the food quality and taste.

   Food was amazing. The beef wellingtons and the skinny dip mixed drink were an excellent combination.

   The whole experience was fantastic, from the check in to paying the bill. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. The service was great & the food was wonderful and fast.

   Some things were great, a few things not so great. 1. The room - a. The chairs need gliders on the bottom of the legs. They are ridiculously difficult to move... especially when you're dressed up and trying to move the chair closer to the table. Since it's on carpet, they do not slide at all. b. The lights on the table.... They are too tall. The top of the light, when sitting in the middle of the table, blocks the mouths of the people sitting across from us. I looked around the room and noticed that people were ducking to talk to each other. We moved it off to the side but then we didn't have enough light. 2. The server- She was nice, but would have preferred less silly playfulness and more professionalism. This is suppose to be a fancy place so I expected to be talked to differently. 3. The food - a. Carrots: Those are the BEST carrots I have ever eaten. b. The beef wellington was good but it definitely was not warm enough and it needed more seasoning (salt). I make this at home as well and mine is actually better. c. The mac-n-cheese had a good flavor, but it was not creamy. It was more dry so a bit dissappointing. I just feel that Chef Ramsay would not have felt like the wellington and mac was up to his standards. I was a bit dissapointed. I'm not sure I would go back unless I knew the $79 for the wellington would not dissappoint.

   Miranda was terrific and offered helpful suggestions. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was better than we anticipated with plating as if Gordon Ramsay was personally expediting.Needs a little improvement polishing glasses and flatware. My martini glass had residue from an espresso martini and my boyfriend’s knife had dirty water spots. That said, the overall experience was top notch.

   Finding out some information was difficult. Google map is showing to enter the casino, that's wrong. If you use valet, you drive to the front door of the 4 season hotel. The valet take car of you. Short distance to the elevator, up to level 8. And you are there. We loved the food and service. Bring your swimming cloth, there is a heated pool, in front of the restaurant.

   We took this trip as a celebration of my beating cancer. It was completely worth it. From getting seated earlier than our reservation to the food and service. Highly recommend going here even just for the experience of eating Ramsay’s dishes one time.

    Great service and ambience. Good choices for sides and starters. We tried sticky cauliflower and raw fish. Scallops were good for main dish. Toddy pudding is the best. But, there are diners with great food and less $$ signs.
