So pleased I booked this for our family Sunday lunch! There were lots of nice pubs in Woodbridge when I was googling, we were spoilt for choice but after reading reviews, I thought the Red Lion sounded perfect and it was! Really warm and friendly service from every staff member. They were great with my 11 month old daughter. I ordered her a Yorkshire pudding that they bought out early to keep her occupied. The roast dinners were 10/10. We all said we haven’t had a roast that nice in a long time! We were too full for pudding but we will definitely be back in the future if we are ever passing.

Excellent family meal. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food is very nice and enjoyed by all! Only observation would be if you book a table in winter ask for one away from the back door into the garden as it was in frequent use and made everyone in our party cold with people in and out for a smoke ! Other than this a great pub to eat & drink😃

I would have put 5 stars on everything but the only thing that let my meal down was that our food wasn't very hot . It as delicious and the staff were brilliant but the food temp was luke warm

Excellent selection of vegetables nicely cooked. A perfect Yorkshire pudding. Meat nice.

Lovely welcome to a busy place, we were seated very swiftly to our table. The service time was very good from receiving drinks though to getting deserts. Was wonderful funny environment to be in with the staff with little jokes with my children but yet serious with the adults but not too serious. When the food came out it was perfect really hot with amazing flavours they seem to have this down to a tee as it was like this before when we had a meal. I would highly recommend going here for a meal service and food outstanding long may it continue for them too.
