It doesn't deserve a Michelin star. Lo único bueno fue el servicio EXCELENTE Conozco bien la comida del chef escoffier, uno de los libros de recetas de comida favoritos de mi mamá. La comida no le hace justicia al nombre o al costo de los alimentos. Tremendamente blah, una experiencia que sin remordimiento ni duda pude haber omitido. Entiendo que la técnica de los alimentos es importante. Pero la comida habla un idioma universal, todos buscamos algo delicioso, diferente, sabores que nos sorprendan y el menú degustación del restaurante de Gordon Ramsey no tuvo nada de esto. Los primeros tres tiempos fueron sin miedo a decirlo decepcionantes. En uno de ellos agregamos caviar por sugerencia del chef, por 35 libras extra. No valió la pena Decidimos maridar nuestros alimentos con el menú degustación de vino, de igual manera muy decepcionante Ciertamente lo peor que comimos en nuestro viaje Sobre todo cuando un chef es conocido por sus altas expectativas en juzgar comida, te imaginas que es congruente a lo que pide y en este caso fue más bluff que buena comida. NO LE RECOMIENDO A NADIE IR UNA DECEPCIÓN Aún más decepcionada cuando valúas el costo experiencia de sabores Definitivamente hemos comido más rico en lugares más sencillos

Restaurant is small and hidden behind a small bar area. Easy to get a reservation the day before a Friday 7:30pm slot, restaurant was not full which led to a slightly disappointing atmosphere. Food was world class and outstanding. Tasting menu brought surprises and well executed, friendly service. Discovery wine pairing was well thought out and good value (relatively). Would recommend.

Such a great culinary experience. The portions are perfect and the flavors are delicate. Nothing was too overwhelming.

Restaurant 1890 was truly a lovely experience. Definitely opt for the wine pairings. Keith, the sommelier, elevated the evening with his expertise, selecting wine pairings that were both thoughtful and intriguing.

Unbelievable attention the entire evening all the way around. Keith was very knowledgable of the wine choices and the fixed tasting for dinner was a delightful surprise and didn’t disappoint. Thank you for a wonderful evening

We had an exceptional lunch at 1890 and just wished we hadnt left it so long to visit! the food was excellent across all of the courses; wines and cocktails similarly excellent and we would definitely return and recommend.

The place itself is stunning. The waiting girls who take you to your seat were lovely. I didn’t like that the waiting staff change so much for the meal. I also really hated trying to be upsold the moment we sat down to have truffle on the courses. I was sitting looking at the window which looks out to mean girls which to be honest just cheapens the whole setting. Those curtains should be closed so you can’t see it. The food was presented very well but for the money you are paying was just not enough. I left hungry. The bread which was lovely they said they would bring out more and didnt. Wine was lovely. Would I go back…no not to that one. We waited years to go but the price being £600 for 2 of us for a meal and still being hungry just wasn’t worth it. We had told the restaurant it was my partners 40th and he got a birthday card, you would think they would have done a dessert for him or something special.

I was quite apprehensive at dining alone at such a prestigious high end establishment, but i was happily surprised as soon as i walked in. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, but also so helpful and friendly. I didn't feel alone at all. Always a smile and a listening ear to hear how wonderful the food and drink were. The food was incredible. With little upfront knowledge of what the menu would contain, i was relieved it was full of dishes i would have ordered myself, with seasonal ingredients presented and cooked in excitingly new way - for me anyway. It was all so well presented and described. Thank you all for making me feel so comfortable, welcome and incredibly fed!
