Our mission is "Bienvenue to All!" Our restaurant celebrates the hospitality and gastronomy of authentic, scratch-made Louisiana and Southern foods with a focus on environmental stewardship and our immediate community. Our menu represents the integrity and connections between our chef, our farmers, and ranchers. From mustard to sausage to biscuits, nearly every item is made in-house.

Restaurant Beatrice is a contemporary Cajun/Creole restaurant that celebrates the magic of Louisianan cuisine and hospitality. Find yourself sitting amidst a fleur-de-lys wallpapered dining room in a renovated charming Craftsman home as you enjoy a seasonal, changing menu originating from the creativity and heirloom recipes of Cajun Chef Michelle Carpenter.Beatrice achieved Platinum Level Green Business Certification with the city. Operations make considerations for the environment, all people, and our community. We work closely with local farmers and we compost 100% of food waste. Nearly everything is scratch-made, from andouille sausage to citrus stock used in drinks. Serving traditional dining indoor and seafood boils on the patio, our mission is Bienvenue to All!

This is a fantastic gem. It’s like going to dinner at grandma’s. Super cozy and warm, amazing service, great well seasoned food, and awesome cocktails. The dessert was to die for. One of the smoothest chocolate cakes I’ve ever had (they have a bakery chef!). I went there with my wife and we both loved it. Highly recommended. We definitely plan to go back.

I have to say I was very disappointed with the food! Our server was excellent and very informative. However, the food - terrible. My Besties and I went back in December 2024 and the food was off the chain. I brought my sister for her birthday on 6/1/2025 and the food was awful. She ordered chicken fried steak and it was pink inside with the crust not even attached to the meat. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my chicken was not cooked all the way through (pink inside). No flavor at all! I was expecting the seasoning to be cajun influenced, NOT! Tue manager was informed and the order was returned supposedly better prepared. Still not good. The one thing that soured our visit was that the manager didn’t even offer to comp a % or anything. $140 wasted. Bring back the original cooks if you want to survive. Or train the current cooks to cook. I’m sure the owner will not agree with what you’re serving and ruining her reputation! I won’t return to your establishment anytime soon.

Restaurant Beatrice in Bishop Arts is one of my absolute favorite spots. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and just downright delicious—every meal is memorable in the best way. I go so often that some weeks I end up there twice, and everyone I bring loves it just as much as I do. The service is just as incredible. Queen is one of the servers who makes the whole experience even better. She knows the menu like the back of her hand, and since I’m a regular, she can pretty much guess what I’ll love before I do. Her recommendations never miss, and she makes every visit feel special. If you’re in or around Bishop Arts and haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving a great meal, this is the spot. I’ll keep coming back, and you should too!

The four of us loved our meal from start to finish! The biscuits were outstanding and even come with special butter and preserves. The fried tomatoes were innovative and scrumptious. The ginger cocktail was spot on and our entrees were all a hit. The praline bread pudding could've used a bit more sauce but otherwise our meal was perfection. Our server was attentive and engaging but not overbearing. The ambiance is warm and lively and inviting. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive!

The food was amazing, along with the best old fashioned I’ve had. Waiter was extremely kind and explained the menu perfectly. 10/10 experience will be back again!

The food overall was pretty good.The pecan crusted Red Snapper is outstanding as was the Fried Green Tomatoe starter. In addition, the Mocktail margarita on the rocks was excellent. The only issue was the Fried catfish and grits. It was very salty and we only ate a few bites.
