A traditional steakhouse that focuses on Irish bred cattle and sustainable stock from rare breed herds that are traceable from farm to fork. Ribeye only use traditional Irish bred cattle and sustainable stock from rare breed herds that are traceable from farm to fork and that are a minimum of 60% plus genetic thoroughbreds. At Ribeye, we insist on all our beef being moderate to highly marbled to ensure the juiciest most flavoursome meat possible. During the cooking process, the marbling renders down leaving the meat full of flavour incredibly tender and so, so succulent!

                                                            Unfortunately not a great experience, firstly they only serve 1 beer on tap which wasn’t working! Despite being called the ribeye steakhouse and being a Monday evening the ribeye was also the special however they had ran out even though it was only 6pm. The bathrooms were not in use as the restaurant water tank had ran out of water they did make provision for us to use a neighbouring restaurant. The food itself was ok, both my wife and I ordered the fillet and the steak was the star of the show however we did ask for it medium but they both came medium rare but tasty regardless, french fries were good but the sauce was cold.

                                                            For a place that predominantly focuses on steak, there is a desperate need of salt and pepper either prior to cooking or afterwards, I would understand for a reasonably priced cut of meat but this did not meet my requirements for a 35+ euro steak, I would absolutely come back for the truffle fries and the cocktails, the bar tender deserves a kiss on the cheek, pornstar Martinis and amaretto sour were to die for, the espresso martini was the cherry on top , would recommend to anyone wanting to try decent food with amazing cocktails

                                                            Starters werea small portions for the price, but tasty. Steaks were lovely all round. Side orders were small, and they were not willing to change onion rings that came with steaks for something different. Peppercorn Sauce was a little overpowering. Deserts were much nicer than they looked. I have a good review as per star rating, but these points came to mind when I started writing a review.

                                                            What a lovely place so cosy and comfortable but.. food was overall very tasty but I was told it was served with mash. The actual mash was not a serving but a garnish so my advice order lots of sides. My husband ordered a steak it came with onion rings x 3 he ordered an extra portion of chips enough for 1. Price wise 4 people 2 course each and a bottle of wine €220.
