We will be serving a decadent tasting menu featuring truffled baked taleggio, artichoke dip and beetroot-cured gravadlax to start. For the main event, choose between a traditional turkey roast, whole miso-grilled bass or our signature vegan Wellington. It wouldn't be the big day without a cheese board and a slice of our yule log, though we also have a show-stopping black forest pavlova, coconut cream to finish. The starters, cheese & desserts are served to share. All guests need to choose their individual main course. Pre-order is required.

    Dinner with 4 friends, sat on the left inside, behind the welcome desk, looked like the dining section. Food was great (had halloumi skewers with side of lentils, very tasty). Great desserts too. The place was packed (xmas time). Friendly staff,

    The food here was extremely delicious and came out in good time. The service was okay as it was busy it was hard to get the attention of the servers. Was decorated cute for Christmas too.

    Staff are lovely and very attentive. The atmosphere was great but sadly the food completely let the whole experience down. I had the full English breakfast but the scrambled eggs were absolutely tasteless, the black pudding cold, the baked beans were BBQ flavour which were too artificial for my taste but the worst thing was the chargrilled sourdough which gave such an overwhelming barbecued flavour to the whole breakfast that it was difficult to taste anything else. I think they’ve attempted to fancy up a classic and sadly missed the mark on all sides.

    Always loved the Riding House, but left a little bit disappointed this time. We were rushed off our table for another booking, even though we’d only had it for 1 hour 15 and we had a two hour allocation. The hollandaise sauce was also very vinegary.

    Food was good my sister had the full English and this looked great however my side never came and I had the mushrooms on ciabatta and the portion size was very small so ended up ordering a second dish. Drinks were slow these only came half way through food service. However it is a nice place and food was good.
