Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: James Beard semifinalist Randy Rucker and his wife-partner Amanda Rucker opened this American gem in 2019 dedicated to spotlighting seasonal ingredients from the region. The intimate dining room feels like an extension of the open kitchen, where a four-course menu changes constantly, from sweet amalia oysters with buttermilk ponzu & trout roe to smoked steelhead trout with maple, celeriac & agretti. The results landed River Twice on the New York Times's list of the best Philadelphia restaurants.

Filosofía

Our goal is to encourage a sincere connection to the Delaware River Valley and mid-Atlantic region through the ingredients we select and the dishes we serve. A close relationship with local purveyors allows us to develop an evolving menu, making every visit a unique experience.

Our intimate, window-lined dining room offers a charming view of the iconic Singing Fountain on East Passyunk Avenue. For a truly immersive experience reserve a seat at our chef’s counter to enjoy an up-close and personal interaction with the artistry of our culinary team. Please note, the chefs counter is counter-height seating. Dietary restrictions must be noted ahead of booking, we are unable to accommodate vegan, dairy free or allium requests.

Delightful evening of perfectly Paced courses, beautiful wine offering that complimented the courses. Addl’ offerings further enhanced the experience. Staff were all knowledgeable and personal made for an worthwhile experience . Will be back again

Everything was perfect!!! The food, the drinks the service… everything was top notch. We got the drink package to match the meal and I highly recommend that.

We have been to River Twice several times and decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. We dine out a lot and are serious foodies, and we think our meal at River Twice was one of the best meals we have had in a number of years. The food and the presentation were outstanding, and the service and staff are exceptional. We will certainly return soon.

Excellent food. Could definitely include more food in their tasting menu. Even with an add on that we bought, we were still hungry after. But everything else was perfect

Champagne was excellent but food wasn’t as tasty as I hoped it would be. Hot dog and tinned mussels fell flat. Every dish tasted ok but everything just didn’t taste flavorful enough.

The tasting menu is not as good as it used to be. The food tonight was very BLaND, especially the quail entree. Sadly, not worth the money anymore.

A little gem! The food was outstanding. Each course was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and engaging. We had an absolutely wonderful evening!
