    We had the most fabulous fabulous lunch today. There were 4 of us and each one of us thought our meal was outstanding. I especially want to say how good it was. I have so many allergies and intolerances and my meal was made to be every bit as delicious as theirs whereas I normally end up thinking I might as well have stayed at home and cooked as I usually end up with something very bland. I don’t remember the last time I had such a lovely meal. The fish is stunning even the dairy free ice cream was the creamiest I’ve ever had. We all had fish and seafood and it was a special meal Definitely recommend for the location, the service, the restaurant decor as well as the outstanding food we will be back and will remember the meal. Went for a lovely stroll along the harbour arm after which was also great!

    Had a wonderful meal last night at Rocksalt. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. Our holiday had been cancelled due to the Heathrow outage and they gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne which I thought was really lovely touch and sweet of them 😊

    We always love coming to Rocksalt, especially for the seafood and the wonderful ambience. Lovely cocktail list, too. Children’s menu is a bit meh, would be good to push the kids to be a bit more adventurous! But honestly, this place is a gem.

    Very poor service. Starters came quickly but had to wait a long while for mains, Even had waiter asking whether we have had our starters whilst waiting for our mains. Waiters not very attentive, difficult to catch theirs eyes. Charged for wrong amount, much more. Disappointing as we have been here many times before.

    First class food and value, particularly the 2 course set meal. Best risotto I have ever tasted.

    The food was cold as was the table next to us. During the meal including the main course no one came to ask if everything was satisfactory. The food was good but ruined by being cold. When our glasses were empty no one came to see if we wanted another drink. We booked for 3 o’clock. The restaurant closing time was 4 o’clock. The attitude seemed to be the staff were just waiting for closing time and therefore were not really interested in the diners. We received a discount for the cold food. It is difficult to understand how cold food can be allowed to leave the kitchen of a supposedly “top” restaurant. We have used Rocksalt frequently since it was opened. It appears that standards have slipped.

    The meal was amazing, a lovely atmosphere for my daughters birthday celebration, the staff were very attentive and kind.
