We arrived at our designated time but were then moved twice over the next 2hours to accommodate other bookings. Not sure why a reservation doesn’t secure you a permanent place

We booked a table two weeks in advance on the roof top bar and half hour prior to us getting there they called and said they had double booked our table and cancelled us. No other option was made so we went to the the paddo inn and had a great time.

On a warm evening this is a magical bar. The view as the sun sets is Insta worthy. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service good. Note this bar doesn't open, without notice in inclement weather.

Arrived at 8pm with 40people for a Birthday Party to be told that the Roof Top Bar was closed due to rain that day and we had to leave the building. There was no attempt to contact us to before hand and let us know it was closed. There was no attempt to accomodate us some where else. There was no attempt to explain what has happened, only that we were to leave the building immediately. Dissapointed is an understatment. Won't be going back again and don't think the 40 guests will be either.

Great as always. Bar team were super attentive and though the food was a little bit slow to come out, the manager provided a complimentary beer which is always appreciated but definitely not necessary.

We were a group of 7 who all ordered at the same time but our meals came out so far apart that none of us actually ate at the same time. Burgers and chips came out almost an hour after ordering and were cold and soggy. Entree came out at the same time as the main. There is no music allowed on the rooftop so it was a bit of a weird quiet vibe when it’s not busy. The girl working behind the bar was very nice and accomodating.

Booked my birthday drinks here. When I had arrived I was informed that they had cancelled my booking (it was raining - booked on rooftop). However, they did not tell me they had cancelled it and they also didn’t find us any space to move the 10+ people who had turned up. The waitress told us we would have to go to a different venue and sort ourselves out as they were busy. I was quite upset as I had book this weeks out, never been here and had only heard good review. But we had to spend the next 50 minutes walking in the rain to different pups so we could find a space to sit down and have a drink

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Guest experience is very important to us, and we seem to have not communicated clearly with you. Our process during inclement weather is to move bookings to "available space" within the hotel. Unfortunately on the night of your birthday, all spaces were booked out by private events. Although we do state this in our booking terms and conditions, I’m sorry we could not have done more to accommodate your group. We are consistently working on how we can improve, and we have taken this feedback onboard.

We made a booking mistake and set 4instead of six for the roof top area - one of the maître d guys with a white shirt made a big effort to seat our four that had arrived first and then arranged tables for our whole party. It was lovely to have Caring and effort - pizzas were superb! Fish and chips highly rated but the chicken salad was a bit dry - the only let down and the wines were very enjoyable!
