Rooftop in Walnut Creek offers a stunning view of Mt. Diablo while providing creatively prepared new American cuisine. Owners Jim and Jennifer Telford, along with partner and Executive Chef Justine Kelly offers guests a beautiful outdoor lounge for dining out with friends. Besides the picturesque surroundings that also showcases downtown Walnut Creek, Rooftop has a living wall with lush greenery and water features. Guests can feast on black cod wrapped in a banana leaf with pea shoots, lamb meatballs or other flavorful plates. Delicious desserts, fresh salads and bar bites will also satisfy the appetite. With mentions in publications like Diablo Magazine and California Home Design, Rooftop is a wonderful location for a business lunch or a romantic evening out with a date. It has a full bar and welcomes reservations.

Visit us on Friday with your friends and enjoy the best views of the city. For reservations more than 6 guests food & beverage minimum spend of $80 per person is required. Friday & Saturday we take up to 12 guests. Table dining times are limited to two hours. Many tables are tall high-top tables with backless chairs, please request accommodations if this will not work for your group. We have a 15 minutes grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. Location and seating are based on availability. 20% service charge will be applied.

It was a lovely evening. The food was incomparable. The ambience was superb. Our waiter was excellent. Love RoofTop.

I love the rooftop open air dining experience. We sat outside with a great view of the Mt Diablo, on a bright sunny day. Service was prompt. Allergy accommodated. I had the poke bowl-- it was delicious, and fresh. The other person had the shrimp tacos and thought them good, but not a wow.The iced tea was freshly made. Server was friendly, quick with the delivery of our lunches, and good about refilling water, and read allergy note on the reservation. My only issue was that server could not take my Apple pay at the table -- I had to walk across the restaurant to the computer- need to update the payment system.

Rooftop has a nice ambience for all different occasion types, I was on a first date, our table was put in an intimate corner off the enclosed patio per my request for some privacy and noting that it was a first date. So I appreciate the accommodations and effort that was taken into consideration. Staff and Food are always great. Nice variety on the menu, which is great. Drinks are always right on point.

Host did acknowledge special occassion and she was super friendly but how disappointing that birthdays and anniversaries get desserts etc but celebrating a military promotion which is 1000x harder to accomplish- does not

The server Nick was great, staff was friendly and welcoming and attention to detail and expertise of menu and surrounding Walnut Creek areas is top notch. Will come back again.

We had a nice dinner and an appetizer. Two glasses of wine. The food was very good with the exception of the asperges. It was very tuff.

Had a nice lunch on Friday at Rooftop. This spot has continued to provide a quality meal with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. Our waiter on Friday - I believe his name was Carlos - was outstanding making sure that we were well taken care of. The food was fresh and delicious and the wine set the right tone for a Friday afternoon One of my go-to places in Walnut Creek...I'll definitely be back.
