Rooster & the Till is an award-winning, modern American neighborhood restaurant in Seminole Heights. With an always-evolving menu & eclectic beverage program, it's perfect for adventurous diners looking to be challenged by new ingredients and who expect high attention to service.

We offer 2 different reservation options each evening, seats at one of our tables or at our kitchen counter, barstools that overlook the kitchen. The full menu, including tasting, is available anywhere within the restaurant.

We'd love to plan a tailor-made dinner experience for your group! Due to our small size, we are limited to large parties of 20 or less during service hours. For full space buyouts, we are limited to 60 guests for sit-down dinners and 90 for larger cocktail hour-style parties, where we can offer buffet style dining or passed hors’d’oevres.

Nightly Kitchen Counter Reservation

Reserve high-top seating at the Chef's Counter overlooking the kitchen and get a firsthand look at every dish as it's prepared. All reservations are limited to 2 hours unless otherwise arranged. *Note, this is not a reservation for our front bar and is not included in happy hour.* ACCESS INFO: Please note this is a reservation for high stools that may be a challenge for those who have access needs.

Amazing food overall. However, one of our beet toast dishes came out burnt, not chared, burnt! We ordered two plates of this dish for the table. One was excellent, and the other burnt. My table agreed, though they did not want to send it back because they did not want to offend anyone. I pick here because normally everything is excellent and I can enjoy and bring my friends, family and business family to enjoy high-quality food. It usually let's use lean into our conversation with wow this is so good. This is good in between our normal conversations. Unfortunately, the burnt toast became part of our experience and conversation. In my opinion, this should have never left the kitchen. Before last night, we had a perfect record of wonderful meals all tens. Sadly, last night, I felt let down by the kitchen. Treating my friends' family and business friends to a good meal is important to me. Watching them light up in between conversation when the food arrives makes me happy to share Rooster and The Till with them. This time, one of the dishes did not live up to all expectations. We will be back, though I can't say that I have never had a bad dish any longer. Blessings to all enjoy, and I hope you never get served burnt toast.

Super loud. Food was excellent just over priced. Waitress was great and the person bringing out dishes.

Started with the chicken and waffles. So good! Next, cobia collar...divine! Lastly, we shared the short rib gnocchi. Also amazing. 10/10 experience and was my first visit. Will definitely be back!

Food was great. Lots of wonderful combinations. We ordered 7 dishes to share with 4 people and we all left very full. The staff was very friendly. The main complaint was the timing of the dishes. They are all shared family style and the first one came out pretty quickly but then we felt like we were constantly waiting for the next one. At the beginning we were hungry for the first hour by the end we were full but felt some of the first dishes could have come faster or together. It also pretty expensive for the quantity. Plan to spend at least $100 per person. $30 for chicken and waffles is crazy when it’s really 3 bites of chicken and waffles. They are very good but for the price it seems crazy.

Simply outstanding food in a very lively setting. Only downside, two of us received our food so far in advance of the other two that two were completely finished before the last two meals were served. Makes for an awkward situation.

I’ve gone to this place many times and unfortunately last time the food was not a 5 stars as always. It was extremely salty to the point we couldn’t eat and had to returned it. It’s very sad we went all the way to this place to leave dissatisfy. Hopefully next time it’s great again.

What a find! We were just in Tampa for one night, and looked for a nice restaurant. The reviews and comments led us to reserve for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Great, innovative dishes, and excellent service. The next time we are in Tampa, we will return to “Rooster & The Till”.

Great food, creative dishes. Everything we tried was delicious. The golden banana cocktail is a standout! The staff were all knowledgeable and attentive. Overall it was great experience.
