Rooster's Wood-fired Kitchen is thrilled for its first expansion since 2012, opening at The Bowl at Ballantyne with more than 30 years of culinary tradition and craftsmanship under its belt. Rooster's is known for elevated simplicity with dishes that allow seasonal, often locally sourced ingredients to shine. With this location, Rooster's debuts a refreshed approach to interior design with a nod to the outdoors and the recreation of fly fishing.     Appointment for 9:45 pm, they’re were rushing us to order at the bar closing at 10:00 on New Year’s Eve!, none of the managers stop by to our table to check on the service, when we order bread that said the oven is shutting down, sorry! So far food is good but not abundant, lack of side orders with main entrees. For the cost of the meal and the location (the bowl) they far away to please customers or be considered an upscale restaurant.

    NYE and our first time at the location in Ballantyne, everything was great. Would definitely recommend trying Roosters.

    My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here on New Year’s Eve. We got to sit at the chef’s counter and it was awesome. It was definitely an experience like a local hell‘s kitchen. Without all the bad words we got to watch the Symphony of orders being made orders coming in orders going out ,The attention to detail, THE FOOD ! there is not enough space in this review for how wonderful tasty and amazing. We thought the food was ,the drinks are fantastic as we liked sitting at the counter cause you get to look at the whole restaurant and feel the buzz of everybody eating and talking .Excellent place excellent service excellent food. I have a feeling we’re gonna be back many more times.

    This is my second trip to Rooster’s and the food was delicious both times. I think the number of patrons on New Year’s Eve impacted the ability of servers to be attentive. We had a party of 7 and enjoyed our time there.

    Hanger Steak, scallops, brussels and sweet potatoes...all so good! Rooster's never disappoints on their food. Service was amazing as always! Thank you Vanessa!!

    Paltry portions for excessively high prices., with no brad service at dinner. Will not return.

    This was our first experience with Roosters. The place was extremely busy. Our service was amazing and our server very personable and energetic. The food was very good and the portions more than I could eat in one sitting. It was a little pricey, but not out of line with many places today. Main dining area was rather noisy for our liking,but we were seated in a side room and it was much quieter there. Great first experience and we will return.

    The food and service at Rooster's was good. I would highly recommend the fried oysters as an appetizer.

    Although the appearance of the restaurant is lovely, once the lunch hour was on full swing, I found it to be extremely noisy. I miss the intimacy we have enjoyed in the uptown location. Service was excellent, however the food was sub-par. The salmon cakes were all breading and tasteless. I looked hard to find a hint of salmon in the mix. The butternut squash and brussels sprouts were so salty I struggled to finish eating them. I expected much more for the price I paid for my meal.
