Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. This was are fourth time dinning and we were somewhat disappointed. The food could have been better. The wife and I started with the wedge salad, which we split, this was very good. For the meal we had the Vodka pasta which honestly was missing the zing. The sauce was below standards. We also had the New York strip which was very salty. It came with a full roasted garlic which was not fully cook, cloves were still solid. We had the spinach and asparagus which we enjoyed. For dessert we had the Carrot Cake which made up for the meal. Also, disappointed that people don’t dress appropriately for fine dinning, what happen to enforcing the dress code? Also, found it annoying that the valet parking the cars backed into all the spots out front and the headlights are consistently shining into the dinning area which if you’re facing the windows is a distraction.

Such a great dinner we had. Loved the meatballs and the 8oz filet. Cooked to my liking. Staff was too notch and I told my husband I felt like I was dining downtown. So elegant inside. Definitely going back

The menu is small for a steak house. The wine list is extensive by varietal but small in each varietal. The appetizer list is small and has less common appetizers than other steak houses in the area. The food tased good but was not any different than other steak houses in the area. I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and my wife had a small steak. We shared the Wedge Salad. The bacon bits were not very crispy and made the salad less flavorful. The menu prices are comparable to other steak houses in the area and are somewhat reasonable. We were having dinner at this location for my Wife's birthday and the staff was very helpful and made the small celebration nice. The location has small tables along the windows that face out to the parking lot and a few booths. Many high tables in the bar area along with low tables. Being in the bar area does increase the level of noise and it seems the bulk of the tables in this location are in the bar area. Other than the above, the location is good for a typical steak house meal.

Lovely restaurant - VERY crowded on this Valentines weekend. We thought Saturday would be less crowded . Will definitely return - FAB ambiance!!

Everything was just okay. The service was slow, The servers were not quite polished, the ambiance was mediocre and the food was not exceptional. For the price, it was underwhelming.

We enjoyed our visit very much. We were seated at a table in the bar area so it was good people watching. It was a busy Saturday night, the day after Valentines Day. My husband and I both had steaks, shared a wedge salad and the Brussels sprouts dish. The prices aren’t quite as high as you’d see at a downtown steakhouse. It was all very good. Our only quibble was the service was a little slow. We really liked our waiter and he was super friendly, but he seemed to be stretched a little thin. After dinner we sat at the bar to watch some basketball on the tv. We would definitely go back.

Prices for food were a little higher than expected. Could use a cocktail menu to help with the great debate of what to drink, and there wasn’t a specials menu for Valentines Day
