Rossini by Chef Rocco was founded out of a passion for authentic Italian cuisine. We believe in using only the finest ingredients to create dishes that are fresh, healthy, and full of flavor.

Our journey began in 2024, when Chef Rocco's dream took shape in a cozy spot conveniently located in the rear of Port Charlotte Mall. Our small eatery offers a warm ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were met by a friendly host and quickly were seated. Make a reservation because their customers are loyal all the tables were full. The food was amazing. Meatballs, antipasto salad, their homemade balsamic dressing was the best! So many specials to choice from, you can not go wrong. We finished dinner with a slice of lemon cello cake. We will be returning!

Food was delicious! The entire staff was very nice. It’s not a fancy place and it’s small but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

No booze. Diner hall, not a great place to eat. Food was way over buttered, I was sick for two days. The waiter was the only bright spot.

Overall the food was good, big portions. The Italian Wedding soup was great, and the Ceasar Salad had a great portion of cheese. Our only comment was in regards to the Escargot.... it is definitely not your typical Escargot.. WE do not believe that the clams are fresh, they appear to come from a can, and sautéd with alot of garlic, and butter, maybe some wine. Not served in the traditional way at all, actually it was almost like a stew. They were not bad but not at all as expected. my husband ate some of his but he was disappointed with the canned clams (we think, they definitely have an odd taste).

The only problem was the noise level. It was too loud for four people at a table to chat. Food and service were superior.

Amazing Food! Just like my Brookyln Grandmother. Portion sizes are great (except the escargot large bowl with more mushrooms than escargot). The restaurant is very small so make reservations early. The ambiance is great and makes me feel like I'm back in NY. Service could be a little better. It seems one waiter was running the show and giving great personalized service, but we didn't have him. Our waiter was kind and attentive , but the comparison made it feel less than. Overall I would go back & bring friends. I wouldn't attempt to go with more than a party of 6 due to the size unless you reserve way in advance.

Exceptional dinner. I had the Eggplant Parm that was large enough for 3 meals. My husband had chicken Piccata that was delicious and tender. It was a delicious meal with such friendly staff. We will be back.
