At Rotunda Bar and Diner we like to keep things simple - brilliant burgers, magical milkshakes, good old American style diner classics, ice cold beers and great music all served up to you by our super lovely staff In an iconic B listed building on the banks of the Clyde

We’re right next to the Hydro so we’re the perfect place for filling up before your gig from our U.S inspired menu all freshly made to order. Wash it down with one of our shakes - choose from the classics or be a little more adventurous with one of our own unique creations - or if you’re after something a little stronger we’ve got a pretty impressive cocktail list to choose from too.

You can also book our place for private parties large or small and we can organise live bands, djs and entertainment for your event to make the evening one to truly remember.

Parking at the Rotunda is the easy part. Our parking attendants steward the car park on concert nights to ensure that all our guests get a space and secure parking.
Public transit
The Exhibition Centre train station is a brief walk from the Rotunda with the very next stop Glasgow Central. There are also regular buses straight into town from stops close by.

Ate in rotunda bar &a grill, never again... it was terrible it was like a rough and very noise local pub. The service was terrible we had to wait over an hour for our mains as waitress forgot to order it omg..... no apology when this happened she just avoided our table. It was unorganised, food bland, just flung on a plate. Yeh the place was busy but for drinkers not diners... could hardly move no room. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived and they didn't know where they gonna seat us. I requested a booth which to the guy at door was shocking, I should just sit wherever. Emmm don't think so.. plastic school chairs around hundreds of flung in tables. I would never return here!!!! And I would advise family and friends not to either....

Would recommend to use before a concert space as get free parking, and I think this restaurant would be better on a non concert night - however we were let down by the frantic staff on our visit. It is understandable to be extremely busy and stressed on a concert night considering how full the restaurant is, but to be sitting for 30 minutes before receiving your drink even though you’ve already finished your starter is ridiculous. Then asking the waiter (if you could catch one) is it okay to get our drink yet and they look at you very confused, was a weird experience for us. As we were seated on the stage part of the restaurant, I think this didn’t help our situation as we didn’t have the same waiter to come over and attend to us. Rotunda was quick enough to take our starter away and bring out the Main however we sat for again another 30 minutes waiting on someone to take our main dish plates away and ask if we required a desert. As they didn’t ask - I quickly asked a waiter would it be ok if we got a desert, they looked at me as if I was asking them to wash my hair for me. It was unbelievable and myself and my partner could actually not stop ourselves from laughing at this. Food was okay but for the money you are paying the service needs to improve. Customer service was not great at all, very unfortunate as we were looking forward to this for a while :(

Took a while to find us a table, then the waitress didn’t seem to know which drinks were available behind the bar as she had to keep checking, after that the service and the food was great, i would definitely return.

Terrible food, terrible service. We were pretty much ignored, & when I asked to order dessert waitress rolled her eyes & said i suppose so?!! Really bad

Food was good but children's menu deal was garlic bread for starter then a main. Dessert extra I asked if we could get ice cream dessert instead of garlic bread but no had to pay extra. It should match adult pre theatre menu where it is 2 courses or 3 courses. Had to ask again for our drinks that eventually came when having dessert. Couple of waitresses had long hair which wasn't tied back. Overall it was good since they were really busy with it before little mix but could improve

Really bad service, didn’t have my booking starters arrived before drinks had left bar! waited 45 mins for my dinner plates to be taken away (I eventually just went to the bar to pay, and the person at the bar didn’t appologise for this)

Booked for myself and my little girl for a meal before attending Little mix concert, service was awful had to eat our dinner without a drink, requested drinks repeatedly but managed to get bill before drinks, but got charged for drinks that I was yet to receive, complained to waitress whilst paying she agreed that service was bad and said she hoped my night got better than its been admitting none of the staff know what there doing although she said sorry there was no offer of discount or anything for such a poor experience was disappointed special treat with daughter was ruined through poor service. Food wasn’t worth what I paid either.

Absolutely awful. Staff were unkempt, one of them was chewing gum. Service was so slow, the couple next to us walked out. Our order was wrong - the starter was something other than the order and my gin and tonic had no gin in it! We were going to the Hydro and booked the Rotunda because of it's proximity but won't be back. You get a better meal at Burger King!! Avoid the Rotunda - truly dreadful.

We were very disappointed with this dining experience. We were attending an event at the Hydro and to allow plenty of time we allowed over two hours for dinner. The food and drink orders were taken at the same time and our starters arrived almost immediately. However no drinks were forthcoming until all 4 of us had completed these. We then waited over 45 minutes for the mains before asking when we would get these. The server then offered us another round of drinks which she indicated would be free due to our wait - we all therefore ordered one each. Based on the level of the bill the drinks were actually charged. After an hour the mains were finally received. The food was ok but due to the time constraints we had to rush these with no time for dessert or coffee. This was not ideal as one of the party was relying on dessert due to the fact she had taken a higher insulin dose (as she is a type 1 Diabetic). We then received the bill but had no time to check it - it averaged at £30 per person for two courses and some drinks which is clearly excessive but as we didn't retain the receipt we cannot follow this up. Overall a very poor dining experience.
