I was very disappointed in the soup they had on special that day , it was unfortunately very cold the cheddar cheese they had on top didn’t even melt. Although the food wasnt the norm the service was great ! We often come here for the pizza which is always delicious- my rating was purely based on the food I received.

service was fantastic. Wine by the glass was definetly quality and decently priced. Food was good, however a $40 steak could have been better quality for the price. I will say it was cooked to perfection though. Now, if you don't like mice, I don't recommend going here. There's a little guy cruising around the dining room quite brazenly.

This was my third time at Salt and Ash and I loved it yet again. Whether you are looking to spend a bit more money and get a fancier unique meal, or looking for cheap greasy eats, they do it all perfectly. Not to mention some of the best brussel sprouts I've had in Halifax. It is getting up there as my favorite restaurant.

Staff was excellent, the greeter was super nice and let me put my baby stroller in their private area. Waitress was also very friendly and helpful. As far as the food the burger and their fries were exceptional, the fish wasn’t my favourite but it wasn’t terrible. Lovely place overall, very nice vine and ambience. I recommend.

Salt & Ash has a vibrant energy in a good location. It's open ad spacious and attracts diners of all ages. The food is fair, but only fair, and the prices reflect the space and location rather than the quality of the food.

We actually bailed the restaurant after seeing the prices on the menu Something like $91.00 for the ribs $51.00 for Shepard's Pie We thought that the prices were ridicious and this was after we made a special to go to Halifax from Moncton NB to go to the Salt & Ash Went to 2 Doors Down where we are an excellent short ribs for $30.00 Excellent food and service at great value a lot of people did ask us about our Salt & Ash experience
