Located in a contemporary space of coastal design Salt at Geist has a focus on fresh. A locally owned scratch kitchen and bar specializing in wild and sustainable seafood, sushi, steaks, hand crafted cocktails along with an extensive wine list, Salt at Geist prides itself on creating unique dining experiences. The restaurant has quickly become a hot spot for casual after work cocktails, late night cocktails on the patio, social plate sharing, business dinners, special occasions, private dining and rehearsal dinners. Being so close to the reservoir, Salt at Geist ensured the environment, while polished, is still inviting to those getting off the boat to come in for a cocktail and dinner.

We like Salt at Geist but our opinion is that the menu and prices are higher end, but the ambiance and service are more mainstay. I would expect a lower end restaurant to have me box my own leftovers, which is what Salt does, however. The restaurant just lacks a lot of attention to details in service that align with the prices and quality of food. I will say that the quality of food is excellent. Comparatively, we find Ocean Prime to be of equal quality in food and price, but the ambiance, service details and wine menu are significantly better than at Salt.

I had a wonderful birthday celebration at Salt at Geist! Our family had the calamari, oysters on the half shell, crab cakes, sea bass, lamb chops & the fish special. Everything was delicious. Also the chocolate cake & lemon cake. Thank you for the visit T & our server Chris. I had an awesome birthday!

Always a wonderful meal and high quality food. Had nice quiet evening outdoor dining- amazing sushi and love the roasted beet salad.

I had the special for the day, which was absolutely delicious. The dish was a red snapper filet served over a bed of lobster risotto with a lemon butter sauce, and topped with grilled scallops. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

Great seafood menu, miss the bean salad with the Halibut. Main courses were a little on the cold side.

We always enjoy Salt! The food is always exceptional! Our server, Melina, was awesome, so friendly and helpful. We have been here many, many times and have never had a bad experience. The Lobster Bisque and Skillet Bread are a must starter!
