Named after the iconic landmark in Salthill, Blackrock Bar enjoys sweeping views of Galway Bay. Soak up the view from the terrace or relax inside.

Open 7 days a week for lunch, light snacks and more substantial evening meals. The drinks menu offers a selection of wine, spirits and superbly crafted cocktails from old favourites to signature house specials including mocktails.

Kindly note, we have launched a new parking scheme at Salthill Hotel. Food and beverage guests will receive up to two hours of complimentary parking from the time they have entered. After two hours, parking will cost €3 per hour. To validate parking, the guest must produce a receipt from the hotel to the staff.

The waiters took us to a table that was dirty, also they are nowhere to be found when you need help., i don’t know, maybe it’s because we are black people, thus the service was very poor, overall, the food is great, the atmosphere is also great!

While I love the Salthill hotel I wouldn't recommend the bar for food. Absolutely for drinks however. The food was okay, nothing to get excited about and we had to ask a few times for a cooler for the bottle of wine we had ordered.

Food was excellent, staff very pleasant and service was excellent. Good variety of choices on menu. Lively atmosphere in the bar but not overly noisy. We were hotel residents and ate here a few nights during our stay. Could not fault it at all.

Disappointed. I have eaten here on a few occasions and was very happy with everything. Unfortunately, my last dining experience was not so good(Sunday 16th June). Party of 5- The food was poor, 3 main courses of seabass which was overcooked and shrivelled in appearance(27 euro each). Desserts lacked taste (lemon tart and creme brulee). The macaron with the brulee was still frozen and when I brought it to the attention of the waitress, she paid little heed. I told her a second time and she said ok, I'll tell the chef. Heard nothing back. The creme bruIee was very watery and ran off my spoon. We were most disappointed. I don't know if I will be in a hurry to return again soon.

Food was fine. Service was not so good. Waiter forgot two of our orders. Waiter rarely checked on the table and I had to ask the manager for the bill after waiting 15 minutes. Took over an hour to get our food. I would recommend going anywhere else but here for a nice meal. You can get better meals and service in town for what we paid.

We weren’t able to dine with this reservation. The kitchen apparently closes before 2100, but reservations are able to be made long past that. The food is great - we went another day - but the correct times need to be on this platform.

Service by our Server Siarla was excellent. We had a family member who was coeliac and this server did everything to accommodate this requirement. Food was excellent and atmosphere was 👍
