Hello Everyone my name is Kiki and I come from a family background of restaurant entrepreneurs, this is my husband's and I second Italian Restaurant, Benny is the Chef and owner as well, he migrated to the United States when he was 13 and worked under the best Italian Chefs in New York City. So we are bringing Chicago and New York Dishes to your backyard. This restaurant we wanted it to make you feel as if you were dinning in the streets of Italy, with our cement floors to the hanging trees to the brick walls. Our dishes our truly one of a kind, the Chicken Parmigiana is to die for, Sea Bass is to live for, and the Chocolate Cake is to fall in love with. Your really in for a treat, come check us out you will not be disappointed..

Sadly we were disappointed. Had good takeout experience previously.server promised excellent experience and basically disappeared. Bread was quite nice. Calamari was an odd batter and very large pieces. Not great. Eggplant parm was ok and quite large and server split for us without up charge (normally $8) which we appreciated. Server seemed to disappear. We wondered what we did to offend? We ordered best wine by the glass available at $19 per glass. Still wondering why things changed? Perhaps he became busy with other tables but it wasn’t busy on a Tuesday night. Sadly disappointed on $100 plus dinner for two.

We had to wait to be seated, even though we had a reservation. This was very disappointing as we expected to be seated right when we arrived. When the meal got started, it was five stars from there.

Our party of 7 sat at the large round under the chandelier. We had Kevin as our server very kind, kept our waters full, table clean and made wonderful menu and special suggestions. The meals were hot and larger portions for some doggie bags. Our 3rd visit and consistent quality entrees, service and hospitality. We will be back soon!

This place is a hidden gem! The food, atmosphere, service, and overall experience was amazing! We celebrated our 24th anniversary there last night! We will definitely be back!

Apart from waiting 45min to be seated even with my reservation (what’s the point of using reservations?), every other thing was fine. Food is excellent. The waiter could be more proactive.

Chicken parm is best in Frisco. Always busy and always outstanding service. Highly recommend.

We have been to Salute many many times. We always make reservations and we get seated immediately. It was extremely busy last night and we waited over 30 minutes for our table, even though we already had reservations. A lot of people with reservations were waiting even longer than us. Maybe it’s time to expand? We’ll be back as we love the food and service is outstanding!
