    Was seated immediately, and put in drink order in reasonable time. But then took forever to get drinks and bread. Waiter mentioned bread service when pouring water then literally took about 30min to get drinks and bread while watching other tables have 2 servings of bread in that span. Also had to watch server check on other tables but essentially never checked on us unless he was bringing us something. So very frustrating Valentine's Day date night. Once first course came out the rest of pre fixe menu was served in a more reasonable timing, but just didn't feel that special of a dinner.

    The ambiance is quite outdated. Food was ok but no where near the one in NYC. Maybe it’s because they had a fixed menu for Valentine’s Day. Our server Ryan and Edwin were excellent.

    Service was incredibly slow and seemed to be understaffed. Food was good though.

    Was here for Valentine’s Day dinner. As advertised it was a fixed menu with limited choices. The appetizer course was quite good. The pasta course, the lobster was clearly frozen and tasteless. I had to return the first try because it was way too salty. The mushroom pasta was good. The main course, I saw the waiter bring it out as we were eating the pasta course and he made a U turn to return the dishes. When the dishes finally arrived the steak was cold from sitting (but the meat was tender). The scallops were just horrible. Smelled off and it looked boiled. Could not eat it. When the waiter took away the main dish he did not ask why the scallop dish was not even touched!? The dessert course was clearly not house made, a heavy hand scoop of cake and frozen cheesecake. Should have complained about the scallops but we had enough….not a good showing.

    I went with my mother as a pre-Super Bowl Parade dinner. Everything was delicious. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. The bread basket and accoutrements to start off set the tone for a lovely meal. The view is amazing.

    Sal was our server and he was/is AMAZING! Food was incredible and the ambience as great!

    Our server didn't bring us bread to the table we had to ask and he wasn't super attentive. We ordered mocktails and they took forever to get to our table. The experience was ok I wish it was better

    Ryan M and Salvatore were very attentive and polite. Service was excellent. The food was perfect. The arugula salad with goat cheese, walnuts, figs, and pears was incredible. I will definitely be back.

    Our server Sal made the night. Our seats were perfect. Bartender we encountered when we arrived was a joy. She made a great drink and we enjoyed speaking with her. Overall. Just a fantastic and memorable night. Well done.

    Scarpetta is a wonderful refuge overlooking Rittenhouse Square. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. It is always worth a visit.
