The vibe is dark, nautical chic with just enough mood lighting to make everyone look 15% hotter. Come for the oysters, stay for the lobster roll, and leave wondering if you can pull off a captain’s hat without looking like a tourist.                                                     We had the best, laid back evening. It was a cold Monday night, but the service and atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had the shrimp cocktail, a sample of oysters, the seaworthy roll, and the trout and it was all perfect. Our server, For most of our meal, we were the only party in the upstairs seating area so it was very enjoyable and intimate. And Liam matched the overall vibe - he was very personable and attentive and we cannot wait to go back.

                                                    Our server was amazing. Truly 5 stars. It was unfortunate that they would not allow our party of 4 to sit at the bar. Even though there was room the entire time we were there as the restaurant was mostly empty. My guess (since there was no explanation as to why) is that since we had a late reservation our server stayed to wait on us. That would be understandable- but again, no explanation offered. We would have gladly taken care of our server to be able to sit at the bar which is far more comfortable to the tiny stools at our small table. Food was great. Perfectly shucked oysters. I’ve been coming to Seaworthy since they opened and the food quality luckily has remained great after their recent transfer of ownership.

                                                    Thank you Sean for the review. We do not seat parties 4 or more at the more at once. We want to give you great service. Also, our bartenders might be greeting or making cocktails for the severs. This is a few reason why we do not sit parties like this at the bar. I am very help you enjoy Seaworthy and you been coming since we have open. We love that!!!!

                                                    This restaurant is a gem. I'm a local, and I don't want to tell many folks so I can keep it to myself. You must be a seafood lover, because they do it right. Creative, fresh, beautifully plated, and just warm and friendly. The staff go over and beyond to make sure customers have a wonderful meal.

                                                    Food was good! Got fish and chips and the rainbow trout both had great flavor. Ketchup is almost too spicy but something different. Drinks were average all were more unique liqueur with hard liquor and not much mixer to cut the alcohol. We were seated across bar in a corner on a bench that had another family then group of friends both of whom were distracting for a couples dinner with my fiance. Will go back to try oysters but won’t be a staple of mine as I’m from the warehouse district in Nola and there are better places in the area for better bang for your buck

                                                    Under new corporate management, this place is cutting too many corners. Our over $30 entrees were so minimal that we were hungry an hour later. The staff is friendly and helpful, but it's just not right how little they are putting on the plate for what they are charging. Also, some quality problems here and there - for example - peel and eat shrimp cocktail that was VERY hard to peel. Extra star is for a very good wine list.

                                                    Thank you Gil for your review. Yes we are under new management but we run as an independent operation. The last thing we do at Seaworthy is cut corners. We provide some of the best quality seafood in the city. Trust me I have to paid the bill every week, lol. The reason for the shrimp cocktail to be represented how it is. Is to let the guest know how fresh the shrimp are. We get daily shipments of every item everyday. Once again, thank you for dinning with us. We hope to see your wonderful face very soon. :)
