El Serafina, inaugurado en 1991, es un íntimo restaurante local ubicado en Eastlake, entre la universidad y el centro. Sus paredes de color ocre, que recuerdan al paisaje de la Toscana, su ambiente íntimo y sensual, su comedor en el jardín al aire libre y su auténtica cocina italiana lo convierten en el restaurante favorito del estrecho de Puget y más allá. La filosofía del Serafina es simple: ofrecer los ingredientes más frescos y de mejor calidad, presentar la comida de manera honesta y tentadora y crear un ambiente informal y acogedor que recuerde a un hogar italiano. Always an enjoyable dining experience. Service is excellent. Food predictable. Prices quite high but that’s normal nowadays. Always fun!

We had a very nice dinner. The food and service were great. The noise level was higher than we're used to. But overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

We loved our evening at Serafina. The lasagna and eggplant dish were spectacular and service was wonderful. Ambiance was very romantic but the table for two was a bit too small. Other than that, we think this is our favorite Italian spot we’ve tried out of like 17 different states.

For the price, the food and service was below average. Our bill with tip came to about $325. We got 2 half orders of pasta dishes, 2 entrees, 3 glasses of wine, 2 desserts, and 2 digestifs. There was item they were out of, and the server was unapologetic. Also, our desserts of biscotti and gelato took about 15 minutes- not much to prepare there. Table next to us ordered their desserts well after ours (flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake), and they got theirs very quickly. Our server did not apologize for the delay, nor bothered to really care. I can better spend the money elsewhere for a more enjoyable meal and service.

We really enjoyed our birthday celebration. Great food, drinks in a beautiful setting we will be back.

Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my girlfriend. Food and wine were great along with ambiance. I was surprised by the mandatory 20% gratuity on top of the 4.5% service charge. It didn’t say anywhere on the website or on the menu about the gratuity. The food and service were great, but not worth 24.5% of an already expensive dinner.

I don’t really leave bad reviews, if something is not for me, it could be for someone else. Unfortunately the meal I had a serafina was so intensely disappointing I find it hard to believe someone else would enjoy it. The service was wonderful, 10/10 across the board. The plating was beautiful! The appetizers were fine, nothing very memorable but not bad. For the main course, we had the maiale (which again, plated so wonderfully), and the braised short ribs. It was more like a very thick cut of brisket, and very very dry. It was also served with a parsnip puree which was so sweet it could have been a dessert. the two did not pair well at all. again, I had a great time at this place otherwise, interior was gorgeous and service from manager to servers was perfect, but the food was a major let down.
