   From the moment we arrived until check-out, I sensed a bit of discrimination. Despite my bill exceeding $170, I didn’t feel treated with the respect I deserved.

   Our waitress was knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Lauren was awesome! Food was great too and the Sazarac was excellent!

   Deliicious appetizets and main courses. Our server was attentive and we were finished in plenty of time to make our show at DPAC.

    Seraphine has quickly become my new favorite spot in Durham! From start to finish, the experience was top-tier—the service was warm and attentive, the ambiance was inviting, and every dish was a masterpiece. We started with the Beausoleil oysters served raw and the Dragos-style oysters, both of which were incredibly fresh and full of bold, briny flavor. The pickled plate was a delightful mix of tangy and savory elements that awakened the palate. The fried shrimp Caesar salad was a perfect combination of crisp, well-seasoned shrimp and a rich, creamy dressing that tied everything together beautifully. For entrées, the shrimp and grits were nothing short of exceptional—creamy, well-balanced, and packed with depth. The standout of the night, however, was the blackened striped bass, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by a rich crawfish etouffee. The dish was elevated further by the addition of popcorn rice, which was cooked to perfection and soaked up all the incredible flavors. Seraphine truly delivers an outstanding dining experience, blending impeccable flavors with a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just someone who appreciates well-executed cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!
