The Seven Stars is a 16th century country inn situated in the heart of Surrey, close to both Dorking and Reigate, with Gatwick airport seven miles away. It has wealth of character which includes a large inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings, recently renovated gardens and patios along with ample parking.
An extension that now forms the main dining area was completed in 1996 and won the British Heritage Development Award for that year.
The Seven Stars has a great atmosphere, we have strived to keep it a village pub where friends and locals meet up to wine, dine and and enjoy freshly cooked food, sourced from the local area. We also pride ourselves on our Gluten Free and Vegan options

    Never had a bad meal here great food and service, a bit more expensive than other places but good quality.

    The food is really good quality. The pub was particularly delicious. A really relaxed and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

    Really great food roasts done to perfection, girlfriend’s sea bass curry was amazing. Definitely will come back very friendly staff make it worth while 👍🏻

    Food was excellent, pity the Christmas lunch we went for needed to be booked before arriving and couldnt be accommodated, this wasnt advertised on the website before booking

    I wouldn't recommend. We found the food really quite disappointing; the filo pastry onmy wife's chicken & mushroom 'pot pie' was burnt and the filling was oily. My jerk chicken had no distinct taste except for the pineapple sauce which was spicy and tasty. My desert (Hungarian Bonfire pudding) was luke warm, tough and tasteless. I left most of it which is unheard of for me. Sadly we won't be returning.
