Helen and the team were so accommodating ! Even went out of way to provide gluten free mushy pease so I could have the fish and chips gluten free . Lovely food reasonably priced . The open log fire was lovely especially on a cold winters evening . Our dog was even catered for and spoiled 😂

We booked for Sunday lunch after seeing their Facebook pictures of their lunch pics looked fab. Roast arrived very quickly parts of meal were cold -plates were hot though, beef was very chewy (was told this was because it was near end of service!) roast potato portion was very small for adult size meal ,three really small potatoes. Pigs in blanket had absolutely no colour to them deffo needed more time in oven! Yorkshire puddings clearly had been frozen and recooked. Gravy very watery and lacking flavour. Was disappointing, but at time of paying the bill the bar staff obviously seen our plates were left with a lot of food so we were asked if all ok with meals. Money was taken off bill over the beef!

hi there laura As the Manager i would like to discuss this with you in more detail as i have been on all the sunday sevices recently and this has not been brought to my attention! we pride ourselves on the best service and quality of food and how its plated so this has caused me to need to look in to furthealso have to give permission to take money off the bills and have not been asked to do so , can you advise who served you and what date you came in please and i will investigate this thoroughly and come back to you my number is 07815 945529 please can you you message me your phone number and i can liase with you directly thank you Helen

Food just ok. Service poor, tried giving us the wrong table, then gave our order to a couple that came in after us. Realised her mistake and tried to get our meals asap. Condiments asked for but had to eventually go and ask again for them at the bar and collected them myself. Then had the cheek to charge us a service fee without actually presenting a bill for me to see!!!

Great location Was very busy, would advise checking what events are on that night beforehand, as noise level and service will be affected. Suggest calling if you have any food intolerance, I advised on my booking , but had a problem when I tried ordering.

Our Sunday lunch was delicious, meat & veg cooked perfectly and all food presented well. Pub was busy but we did not chase to wait long for our food, and waitresses were very efficient.

Went for Sunday lunch. We went later than we would do normally so some things had run out but in the whole s good Sunday lunch. However although forewarned we had a Beef and it was tough, very tough. Shame. But we will go back.

It was my first visit Thinking of moving to the area so wanted to look around the village shops pub etc. Fantastic welcome by all members of staff Food was gorgeous I had a fish finger sandwich and my colleague had a steak sandwich. Beautiful 🤩 Ambiance was perfect . Real community feel about it Can’t wait to visit again. Well done Seven Stars
