Shell Shack is a well-known seafood restaurant and bar in Plano, Texas. Established in 2015, this restaurant has a casual and inviting ambiance. The large and trendy dining room is decorated with both table and booth seats, an oversized bar, a variety of lighting styles and numerous big screen TVs. During the warmer months, guests of the Shell Shack are invited to enjoy their meals outside on the beautiful patio. Shell Shack offers a delicious menu that includes catfish basket and fries, gumbo, clam chowder, snow crab, buffalo shrimp, fries, calamari and grilled chicken sandwiches. Additionally, the restaurant has a lengthy bar menu that consists of wine, beer and cocktails. Since its establishment, Shell Shack has become known for its vibrant and entertaining happy hour.

Our server was in training but did an amazing job with a table of 10.... her trainer was awesome as well!! Food was great, Annie was great and trainer even greater!!! Thanks for making my 40th Birthday great!!!💜

Great seafood experience with very good service and nice selection of apps, main dishes, desserts, and drinks in a nice simple environment at a very good price. Thanks for a dinner experience!

The food was subpar and overcooked and not worth the price. Abbey, our server, was amazing though!

I’d say it was great as the real value of a restaurant lies in the quality of food being served. The service was poor and the ambience was pretty standard. I’d definitely go back of the food or order take out based off of the service quality. Their cocktails were also pretty decent. If I’d ordered takeout, I would have rated them 5 stars. This is especially as the crawfish seasoning hit the spot and nothing on their MVP plate was a miss. That corn was divine and the alligator and taco sides were pretty good. I did think the taco tortillas were too thin though but in all, their food is definitely a 5/5.

We were sat immediately upon arriving. Our server was amazing! He was attentive and answered our questions. It was delicious!

The seafood boil seasoning was extremely too salty. The taste was ok. Our server was attentive and helpful but the system went down by the end of our dinner and we had to wait around 20 to 30 minutes to pay our bill. Overall it was just an ok experience.

Food seasoning was very bland, and for the price, there are better value places around. Also, the birthday songs get to be a bit tiresome after a while.
