Siren Social Club is a sultry tropical speakeasy-style restaurant inside the new boutique Hotel Vela in downtown Gulfport, MS. The restaurant and hotel is a short walk from the Mississippi Aquarium, and picturesque white sand beaches. Led by award winning Chef Austin Sumrall and his wife Tresse, the menu features refined European flavors including an extensive raw bar, flavorful small plates, and a variety of handmade pastas just to name a few. The bar will boast an expertly designed menu of artisanal cocktails, wines, and spirits. I joined some friends to celebrate a birthday for one in our group. The food was exquisite and the “tiki-style” cocktails made by bar manager Brendan, put the event over the top. Chef Ethan, and his assistant Mike delivered a meal to be remembered.

Overall food was good… should have been flawless for the price. Cocktails were great but price point was too high. Rap music was inappropriate for the cool setting. Beautiful dining area, low lite… however each time the door opened to the outside it flooded the room with light. Unfortunately the door was opened often and inadvertently left open for prolonged periods of time.

This is one of the best restaurants on the MS Gulf Coast. The food is absolutely incredible, and the ambiance is superb. Make sure to book your reservation early. I recommend indoor dining (table) during the summer since it can be so hot and humid here. Recommendations: The potato stack, the scallops, beef wellington

Started at patio bar with Hayden as our bartender, made good suggestions and great cocktails. Moved to inside bar seats and we had the Ceaser salad with garlic shrimp app and also the carbonara along with the acorn squash. As usual Brendan didn't disappoint with the cocktails. Overall an excellent meal.

Had a lovely evening! Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Food was so delicious. Have been raving about it to anyone we’ve encountered today. The heirloom tomato salad was memorable. We will be back soon. Brenden was great !

Outstanding!!!! The vibe in incredible! The staff is friendly, the setting is stunning & the food is delicious! Siren always has an incredible selection of cocktails too!!! I have never had a bad meal!

Another great meal at Siren. Celebrating our aunt’s successful chemo with her and our cousins. The drinks were amazing (and whimsical), the food was delicious, the service was excellent. If I could describe a perfect evening with family it would look like this one. My only regret is that I can’t give more than 5 stars for the rating.
