Siren Social Club is a sultry tropical speakeasy-style restaurant inside the new boutique Hotel Vela in downtown Gulfport, MS. The restaurant and hotel is a short walk from the Mississippi Aquarium, and picturesque white sand beaches. Led by award winning Chef Austin Sumrall and his wife Tresse, the menu will feature refined European flavors including an extensive raw bar, flavorful small plates, and a variety of handmade pastas just to name a few. The bar will boast an expertly designed menu of artisanal cocktails, wines, and spirits. We had the smoked oysters, scallop dish and swuid ink pasta. They were all 10/10! One of the best restaurants on the coast!

Second time in two weeks and it was perfect again. Great vibe, great staff, and the food is phenomenal. We’ve made it our mission to try everything on the menu because everything we’ve had in three visits has been so delicious. Put Siren at the top of your list.

It was our first time dining there. The atmosphere is really just something else. Every single dish or drink we had felt way more than worth it. It is the day after our visit and we still are talking about how wonderful our experience was. Our waiter knew the menu super well and offered suggestions that were super helpful! As someone who rarely dines at places that are more expensive, I can assure you that your money does not feel waisted. The food and experience we both enjoyed was priceless and I can’t recommend this establishment enough!

Great restaurant we come over monthly and this is one of the best. It has great pasta, great drinks, the spinach and fried egg plant are some of the best I have had. Will definitely be back Go try this place

While we enjoyed the ambiance of this hideaway establishment. We were underwhelmed by the food. the fried items, chicken half and pork chop were overly breaded and not what we expected from the description. Even my eggplant was too heavily breaded. The drinks were just fine, not great. the chocolate creme brulee with homemade whipped cream was the highlight of the meal. Our server was attentive and the hostess and bartender set the stage for our expectations. The menu is too limited, espceially only having one steak option, Tomahawk Ribeye.

Our second time there was even better than the first. The scallops are one of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere. The beef Wellington was superb. Great staff and great owner/chef. Highly recommend Siren!

We enjoyed every second. We had reservations for a party of 5, came in about 15 minutes early was was seated at a beautiful bar in the back while we waited on our table. Food was amazing, waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. One of the best dining experiences we've ever had!
