Refined modern British cuisine meets unparalleled panoramic views of the Newcastle cityscape in BALTIC’s stylish quayside rooftop restaurant.

Menus are inspired by the very best seasonal, local artisan ingredients, whilst a carefully curated wine list draws from both new and old worlds.

The sleek, elegant dining room, complete with a chef’s table, offers an indulgent six course tasting experience. More casual small plates and sharing dishes are served in the opulent viewing box.

SIX’s stunning centrepiece bar serves innovative cocktails and both draught and bottled beers, with an emphasis on local breweries and distilleries.

                                        Fabulous new menu. Loved the goat cheese starter and tortellini main course. The Chocolate desert was so pretty you didn’t want to eat it, but it was delicious. Amazing skyline views.

                                        What an amazing experience the chefs table 9 course taster menu was. Well worth adding the wine pairing to the meal. We can highly recommend the experience

                                        Fabulous Sunday lunch lovely service fabulous food had the roast beef all the trimmings don’t order extras as no need our plates were FULL delicious gravy.

                                        We came here to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday. Everything about the evening was superb. The food was exquisite and the sevice was excellent. The wine pairings were matched to the courses perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

                                        Foodies, get over to Six at Baltic for their tasting menu. We had the 6 course, you can have 9 but 6 is enough. Great combinations of flavours, I swapped out the meat courses for the plant menu and both menus are really fresh, tasty and interesting. £65 very reasonable and £40 for the wine pairing, which lifts it up a level. Great presentation, service, surroundings and views over the city of course.

                                        We had the privilege of being on the chefs table, what a fantastic experience. Head chef was excellent in his explanations of how he created the dishes and where ingredients were sourced. His colleagues were equally impressive. The food was excellent and delivered joy to the palate. Waiting staff were friendly attentive and clearly well versed in their dishes. The main course of venison was superb. I would seriously recommend a visit

                                        Food and service were both excellent. Staff were attentive but not over bearing and very pleasant and helpful. It was a very quiet evening in the restaurant but nevertheless very enjoyable

                                        It was a very quiet lunch time with a limited number of of covers - the food was really very good and the service from both front of house and the chefing team was first class My only pet issue is the presence of recorded music which the staff kindly turned down - I understand why it is there but it is so much better without! Overall a great lunchtime and we will be back soon!!

                                        Sunday Lunch was fabulous , food quality and ample sufficiency - soufflé was absolutely Devine and delicious. I think you would be hard pressed to find a three course Sunday lunch which is better given then quality. We will definitely return.
