Often referred to as “the wine lover's restaurant,” Sixty Vines delivers simple, yet flavorful cuisine paired perfectly with 60 wines on its sustainable tap system. Every plate and pour is designed to inspire adventure and discovery of wine culture reimagined. Guests are encouraged to experience abundance over shared plates, enjoy wine “pinkies down” and to visit for brunch, lunch and dinner. Signature menu items include charcuterie boards, seasonal proteins, wood fired pizzas and innovative pasta dishes all inspired by ingredients found in wine country.

The wine selection was great! Our server gave great recommendations and we were even able to pair it with the food. The fig and prosciutto pizza was amazing!

When we arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, there was a line of people waiting to check in. The girl at the host stand seemed to struggle with checking guests in. We waited over 20 minutes to be seated. We were then seated at a table in the furthest corner of the restaurant overlooking the GW hospital emergency entrance - lights flashing, sirens screaming throughout dinner. We mentioned to our server, Paris that we would like to order mains only, since we needed to get to the Kennedy Center. Paris was wonderful. She got our order in and the dishes were out within 10 minutes. I had the halibut and my husband had the trout. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Thanks to Paris’ amazing service and kindness, we were out in time for the show!

the seating is bad, you’re packed in next to other groups at long tables. Some people were sitting at tables that looked like waiting areas. Food was nothing special.

Samantha, Thanks for taking the time to share some words about your experience with us. I'm sorry to hear that you found our seating arrangement uncomfortable. Part of the environment we attempt to curate is all about celebration, comfort, & making new friends & it looks like we missed the mark here. Our lounge areas are also left up to the guest whether they would like to wait for their table, enjoy some drinks, or even have a meal. I'm disappointed that our food options weren't to your liking as well, but feel free to reach out to our General Manager, Kris, about more details that we can share with our team. Waited 45 min for a table, even with a reservation. They were apologetic and brought us a free glass of bubbly but the wait made us late for the theater show we were going to see that evening

We had to wait 30 minutes despite having a reservation, and were sat at a table where the noise level made it hard to have a conversation. The wait staff was attentive and polite, and the wine flight was tasty. The food was uneven. One of our pasta dishes was a tiny portion that left the diner hungry after finishing it. My pizza was undercooked and under seasoned. And the beets had a cloyingly gloopy sauce that was almost like a paste. Essentially the place looked the part but the food and ambiance were just average.

Food was good, great vibe in the restaurant. Server seemed a little distracted, but wasn’t bad, just slightly forgetful.

This place has a very energetic atmosphere and the food is excellent! We were in DC for work trip and ended up eating here on two separate occasion because the food is so good and the wait staff is extremely helpful in helping us decide what to eat and drink. A must place to try if in the area.
