Smuggler's Inn abrió sus puertas en 1967 y ha servido filete de costilla de Alberta a varias generaciones. Se trata del restaurante preferido por la gente de Calgary para celebrar cumpleaños, aniversarios, logros o simples reuniones entre amigos y familiares. Dined here for Christmas buffet and felt it was way overpriced for what was available. There was barely any turkey served, gravy was tasteless and side dishes were mostly cold. Unfortunate considering it cost $199 for three people.

Went to the buffet for Christmas eve lunch. Carving food was cold and English muffin was stale. Waitress was very nice but manager wasn't aware of her own cyber Monday special. Staff took my phone multiple times to inspect the gift card instead of the manager coming to the table. Very awkward lunch.

Such a great atmosphere and high quality food they have! Service is amazing and attendants were friendly and accommodating for the brunch Buffett experience we had :) variety of food sections from omelet station to meat carving station, the dessert buffet was a dream! Highly recommend visiting! 💯💯💯

The service was really disappointing on a quiet Monday night, short staffed. It took 45 minutes for us to get wine at the table…The ribeye was not too bad but the peach cobbler was really underwhelming. I did love the Gorgonzola sauce.

We had a reservation, were seated, and three times they asked us if we had a reservation! After the 3rd time was annoying . The menu choices were not to my liking. Used to go often when the had a salad bar , and the area with the fire place was open. Don’t think I will be returning

Smugglers has been around for a long time. This means it goes through good times and it goes through bad times. Sadly, we're in the latter for 2024/5. I've never before been served raw pork, cold food and burnt prime rib. But, since the latest management can't be bothered to staff appropriately... you're on your own. I would've crawled over broken glass for a water, and the single drink that we were offered (excepting the managers attempt to pacify), well, apparently liquids are slim pickings these days. Don't blame the staff. Our poor waiter was the only one in the entire restaurant and the manager - nowhere to be seen. Only showed when there was a meltdown at any of the tables in the room. So... mystery solved. Why is Smugglers in a down phase? It'll be a number of years before we bother coming back.

I had not been to smugglers in over 10 years. I had fond memories and was expecting the same, but I was hugely disappointed in the food the portions of food and the service. I won’t be going back for at least another 10 years.

We had the Sunday Roast 3 course special and it was amazing. The salad was fresh with delicious dressing and the prime rib with mashed potatoes, gravy, Yorkshire pudding and roasted vegetables was delectable and to finish it off, we had the sticky toffee pudding which was amazing
