Sociale (pronunciado "SO-SHEE-AH-LAY") nació en los bistros de Florencia y creció aquí, en Presidio Heights. Las risas y la música italiana se elevan desde el patio con calefacción iluminado por las estrellas y reciben a los comensales desde el sobrio callejón ajardinado situado por debajo. Las familias y los amigos pueden dejar atrás el ritmo frenético de la ciudad y disfrutar de un ambiente más alegre y, decididamente más italiano, festejando en el nuevo salón comedor privado del establecimiento, en el salón tradicional o en el patio, mientras los irresistibles aromas de pasta templada, carnes infusionadas con hierbas aromáticas, y "sfingi" dulces (tortas con agua, levadura, canela y azúcar) cubiertos de miel y frutos secos con batido helado de extracto de vainilla impregnan el aire. Nice restaurant but as other reviews have said, very very noisy. People have not learned what a restaurant voice is and continually shout. We were surrounded by two tables of shouters, and it kind of ruined the experience for us.

We celebrated my dad’s 65th birthday here and the Sociale team went above and beyond to make it special. They gave us a perfect table inside but with a view of the festive front outdoor area and our server was so kind. The host helped organize the cake we brought in and they brought it out with candles lit and everything. Noise levels were quiet which was nice for quality conversation. Food was yummy and they did special split pasta dishes for those of us who couldn’t choose between 2 options on the menu. My dad absolutely loved the whole experience! Thank you Sociale!!!

Location is good, tucked away down a corridor, no street noise - service was friendly, prompt. Great menu, food lived up to expectations. Surprisingly good cappuccinos. Environment and interior design was outstanding - will definitely return.
