Mixed Experience – Great Ribeye, But Poor Service I had a 9:00 PM reservation but wasn’t seated until 9:32 PM, which was frustrating. A reservation should mean priority seating, not a long wait. To make things worse, the dish I originally wanted was sold out, even though the restaurant had only been open since 6:00 PM which was disappointing. That said, when I finally got my food, the ribeye was excellent—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It was the highlight of the meal. Overall, while the food (or at least the ribeye) was solid, the lack of organization and poor reservation management made the experience frustrating.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Not a long wait with a reservation! The only downfall is that all of our food was lukewarm at best which was disappointing considering the price point!

Food was great! Love this place. The drinks were amazing, the bar was to die for. BRUSSEL SPROUTS are what I will return for, and the oysters were small but delicious. SO glad to get a same-day reservation!!

I chose this restaurant for my solo birthday and had the best time. Harrison was my waiter and he was not only knowledgeable about the menu offerings, he also provided guidance on the wine pairings as well. I had the chicory and crab salad, in addition to the striped bass which were both phenomenal. To accompany me, I had Chardonnay, Hanzell from Sonoma Valley, CA (2018) which was so rich and luxurious and paired perfectly with my seafood forward meal. The jazz band was on point and the ambiance was very nice. Low lighting and friendly staff make this place a must try. Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Somerville is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The ambience inside is beautiful - no expenses were spared. The live jazz really set the tone of elegance, the service staff was knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails, making sure that we were well informed about portion sizes and what would pair well. We ordered almost 10 dishes and each one was a 10/10! No notes! Next time, I’ll be back to enjoy the bar for a different experience. Tip: Get there on time! Bless the lovely hostess who was generous with us even though we were beyond the grace period.

The food was delicious! The chicken caviar sliders were so good! The roasted chicken was very tasty as well. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese, both were very tasty sides. We also ordered the ahi tuna crudo. I didn't like it so much, it was very acidic and sour. Lastly, we ordered the tres leches cake and it was delicious! For drinks we ordered the Dunbar and the mighty river. The Dunbar is 6/10 and the mighty river is a 1/10. The mighty river was extremely sweet.. I took two sips and that was it. Even the waitress said that the mighty river was not a good drink.. I honestly wish I could've returned it.. Thank you, Lesly

Excellent dining experience. We secured the last reservation available for the dinner set and surprised to end up with one of the best seats in the house. Nice Jazz band wonderful ambiance and the food oh my. The striped sea bass was most tasty. With the curry sauce being out of this world. The bathrooms were a little disappointing no touch less soap dispenser or automatic paper towel dispenser. Nice tile though.

The prices for food and cocktails are WAY TO EXPENSIVE! This restaurant is in my back yard, I can literally walk to Somerville! For something this close to home, in my community I had hoped to become a regular patron and come here weekly for happy hour, BUT guess what…..they don’t even have a HAPPY HOUR!!! Most of the drinks were close $20 and some well over that amount. That doesn’t inspire me to buy 2 or 3 or 4 drinks AT ALL, when I could stay at home a make them myself for and unlimited amount. There was a service charge added as well and it was for a live band fee in which I didn’t get a chance to experience as the band was already gone by the time we arrived as my RSVP was for 10pm and I was told the live band had concluded at 9:45 pm?!? Then why charge me for something I didn’t get a chance to experience? I don’t even want to talk about the food smh! How can you get Mac n Cheese wrong and $50 for a small piece of short rib that was very delicious, but for the quantity it just wasn’t worth it to me imo. I wont be back for the entrees or regular priced drinks, but if Somerville had a happy hour menu with amazing drinks and tasty small bites for very affordable and competitive pricing (think La Louisanne) I would definitely be a regular patron no question about it!

Originally the reservation for the bar, only thing available. Upon arrival and great communication with the maître , Yasmin says “we’ve got a special table for you two enjoy the show, right this way”. 10 stars, my only request is to install a couple cat hooks along the wall. The detail is incredible, ladies they’ve got golden purse hooks for you or fellas. I truly felt taken out of L.A. & placed in the black version of the Great Gatsby..lol . Thank you
